Well you summarise it wrongly based on preconceived ideas . Some of you are just it here to drag Zhara whenever she make a post. I wonder what she did to deserve so much backlash.
Lol it's been this way since I started commenting in 2022. Some people are just not able to cope with anyone who has opposing views to theirs, facts that interrupt their comfortable emotions, especially when it comes from a woman.

Ah I see. Yes there's been some major immigration rule changes ,and more yet to come, so it's probably a blessing in disguise that you hadn't yet moved as you may have ended up stuck.

Keep your ears open for future immigration announcements, especially the sponsorship list as it's fluid and roles will be added/ moved as required.

For long term planning, try and target RQF6 occupations and/or >band 4 roles in health care.

You wouldn't be able to get sponsorship anyway.you don't have work experience .
Leave your sister abeg, she knows you can't pay her back.
Find work in dental clinic, and if you want to go to school of nursing please do you just save and do some trading
thanks I appreciate this will go a long way

Lol. It has never had anything to do with this. I have never seen that raised by anyone.

Ironically, it's because of false narratives like this that you get challenged but I guess 'woe is me; they are attacking me for being a woman!' is a comfortable emotion for you, so you do you.

*Sigh* once again, please provide a screenshot where I said she's shown the MOST SUPPORT for her country of heritage.

Lol "Sleeping, boxed"....what on earth are you going on about. I've already said that your comments are rambling and rather nonsensical, perhaps due to the heat. Try and take it easy.
You may not have used the exact words but you very clearly implied that she had done something to favor the country, and that it was an indication of her support, as compared to Sunak, Patel and co who had not struck deals with India et al.

It's extremely clear that's what you meant. Why are you trying to deny it?

Hello,

Has anyone get emergency travel certificate from the Nigerian High commission in London in recent time? please I want to ask if only one person can go on behalf of a family of 3 to get the certificate for others. Thanks

Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Goodenoch:
Badenough was in Epping on Monday saying how asylum seekers should be kept in camps and not town.

Whatever you think of that opinion, when thinking about what she means and how she would implement it if she had power, what you need to remember is that while she raced to Epping to speak in support of those attacking a hotel housing asylum seekers, she did not and has still not said one word about the widespread riots of last year when minorities (not necessarily immigrants because the rioters were attacking people based on how they looked not checking their immigration status) were being hunted and attacked in the streets.

Do you realize how incredible it is that someone whose political platform is founded in being an immigrant and who is now atop one of the country's leading parties, did not say anything at all in those circumstances? Not even a lukewarm statement just calling for calm. Nothing. In the time of greatest danger by people just like her, she chose silence. She would not have stayed silent had it been any other group in fear for their lives like that.

When her defenders want to lie and make you think it's only because she insults Nigeria that people dislike her, remember that.

Lol. Zahra, the bolded is unworthy of you.

It's effectively tantamount to your saying that all those who dispute what you say are sexist. Another trope against black folk you're throwing around there and with the erudition you appear to possess, you should be careful about generalising and stereotyping people.

If I remember clearly (correct me if I'm wrong), when you first started commenting here, the main thrust of your contributions ran strongly counter to lots of people's views regarding immigration and the recent increases and the reasons therefor more specifically. Given that I'd very likely feel the same way if I were a British citizen, I fully understand and agree with it. The people on the other side of the debate feel equally passionately about their position(s). I'd also agree that most of the debates do seem to be imbued with a great deal of dogmatism (which I find most interesting indeed), but I haven't seen any evidence that disagreement with you is due to your gender.

Lastly, your last contribution concerning Badenoch's conclusion of a trade deal with Nigeria does indeed appear to mean what a couple of people here have said. My dear Zahra, your statement was written in English, and while I may be an African with a non-British accent and name, I'm a native English speaker and I've been speaking English all my life and understand it and your statement both connoted and denoted that Badenoch had done Nigeria a favour by concluding said trade deal. You're trying to gaslight us now.

Working from home today, but I haven't yet had my Weetabix and I'm about to go into one of those interminably long and ultimately pointless meetings that the public sector specialises in which require one to keep an intelligent look on one's face, fight sleep, remember to interject buzzwords and just simply fry one's brain. This means that I'm fragile o, so please bear that in mind before you come for me and my tender male chauvinist and sexist ego.

I've never done a "woe is me" on here, even when I have been attacked. If I felt like that, I would just leave as others have done, and as is probably the fervent wish of you and some others 😂. Once again, this is not a woe is me or cry for help, just facts.

(Un)fortunately for you, I'm quite happy to remain for now, doing my civic duty countering a lot of the misinformation presented here (which is one of the main reasons I started commenting in the first place).

Aunty does not identify as a minority, immigrant or person of colour 😂 point of correction please!

I can bet that if immigrants die she won’t even blink. She’s that weird at heart, forget it, if those defending her here didn’t give a damn then you’re expecting their gang leader to say wetin? You’ll wait forever, even those here defending her you think they see themselves as immigrants?

Lol, I never "come" for anyone. I think it's fair to say that in my time here, I've always been civil and responded to even the most earnest of my detractors without insults, even if with a bit of sauce 😂

Lol I deliberately said what I said regarding the woman comment. I clearly said "some", not "most" and certainly not "all", so I'm not generalising or stereotyping.

My exact comment on the trade deal was " To conclude, for someone who is vilified as the biggest hater of Nigeria, I wonder why she signed a landmark trade deal with Nigeria, worth £7 billion - the first the UK signed with an African country - when she was Business Secretary"

I am not au fait with the details of the deal and who benefited from what - my rationale was that if I hated a country/ party so much , I would work against any type of deal and focus on deals with other parties instead ; ergo, maybe she's been more supportive than she's been given credit for. Maybe that's me being naive.

And even if it is implied from my statement that "she did Nigeria a favour", I don't see how that's been spinned into some kind of "gotcha"

Following the same reasoning, Kemi did Australia a favour by securing a deal with them. And the UK did India a massive favour by signing the recent landmark deal. The UK is evidently very generous. Lol

No. The only reason why it is being discussed in the context of being a favor is because YOU made it so.

It was as you you cited it as a way to disprove the claims of her animus against Nigeria.

It's not a big deal or a gotcha, it's just funny that you're compulsively trying to deny it when it's actually not neccessary.

By the way, this is also nonsensical.

Repeating that you said "some" is meaningless when there's clearly no instance when your gender has ever been in issue in this thread. Unless of course you have had interactions with people off-thread where they have made your gender an issue.

But on this group? It has never happened, and I challenge you to show where it has. Name the people who are attacking you based on your gender so we'll all call them out as is our responsibility.

I can't just say some people who challenge me are doing so because I have curly hair and when someone says oh that's not true, nobody has ever said anything about your hair I then retort "oh but I said 'some people' so I'm not generalizing or stereotyping"

But honestly you too read what I wrote and what you responded with? Where's the nexus?

I said it's not true that anyone is challenging you because you are a woman, and your response was to ramble about how you are not going to leave (I don't want you to and I have never said you or anyone should).

So how else am I supposed to interpret it other than that you made a claim, failed to back it up with proof, and to distract from that failure, decided to shift attention to a completely tangential point arguing against things nobody said?

I'm trying to deny what I didn't say? When it was another poster who brought up the favour point and said I should be "condemned" me because said favour allegedly turned out to be a detriment 🥴

You're right, it's not a big deal or gotcha -its such a fatuous, desperate point but if it makes you happy, dear Enoch, then yes I will publicly confess that Kemi did indeed do Nigeria a favour by signing a trade deal with them.
She also signed/facilitated a trade deal with Australia, so I will also confess that she did Australia a favour.

I hope you don't ask me to rank the favours in order of magnitude.
