In fact, the better a team is the easier they are to coach cause one they will play to instructions and two you won't need to micromanage the game. Just give the overall strategy and they'll follow it.

I have said it here before that until our teams reclaim their spots back on the continental club stage. They are not worth being in the national team. it's that simple.

I didn't watch the chan games but estimating from Chelle's games with the SE, I can guess what happened. I'm sure he tried to get those guys playing upfront which resulted in high possession without result, missed chances, poor ball recovery.

But on a serious note, yes Ekong could have done better bit in my opinion the coach too made like for like changes and it didn't seem he wanted to close out the game same way CIV beat Mali in the last minutes in the AFCON
