Like I said before there's no sufficient data to conclude on this and biblical style only writes on important things, not extras.

Knowing such details is not important to salvation, it just brings clarity. Jesus said there are so many things(heavenly) that he can't tell them(disciples) because even earthly things they have not known. I am typing quickly hence my write-up will feel rushed...bear with me, by evening I should have proper time to address your concerns.

The same questions you posed can be said of menšŸ˜…. I think Jesus made it clear that all must deny themselves, context in the case is man, I do believe such wisdom is applicable to Angels hence the more reason why the bible highlighted "fallen angels" that went out of their way. Overall, he that hath God has everything and his fulfilled.
Your first paragraph was very powerful and it has the answer to all these. Let me quote you.

no sufficient data to conclude on this and biblical style only writes on important things, not extras.

This is key. If angels are Sons of God, the bible did not say. No data so why guess? Please apply the wisdom to wrote here.

I am not depending on anything fits. Like I have said the bible is not unequivocal on angels. There are just glimpses of them here and there. The verses of "sons of God" have a context that doesn't fit man. The subjects or objects depending on the verse fit heavenly beings. Also, from scriptures angels/heavenly beings are called morning stars. The scriptural data suggests such an inference. Not me, scriptures. I am not making anything fit but rather relying on the bible to explain itself. Even from the tanakh, Jewish commentaries, sons of God were mostly used for angels, Jesus was crucified because he called himself a son of GodšŸ¤”. Historical context along Jewish style and literature warrants such an interpretation.
Don't you see that all you do here is depend on human wisdom and not revealed truths?
Hope you know that angels are not the only heavenly beings? So Job could very easily have been referring to heavenly beings that are not angels.
As for genesis, it could very easily have been talking about human beings so why decide and teach according to canal wisdom.
I repeat again, no verse in the entire bible indicates directly or indirectly that angels are Sons of God. You need lots of scriptural gymnastics and even at that it still doesn't make sense.
In the bible, Son of God is only used in reference to Jesus Christ and Man. It fits much more to conclude that the phase as used in Genesis 6 was talking about man not angels. And yes the use in the phase on Job fits heavenly beings not necessarily angels.

Came down to earth? Are you for real? Where? 😩😩😩😩

Also, the term "Sons of God" is never used in the entire book about a blood line; the term, Sons of God, was instead used about men who, through diligence, attained the level of Righteousness set by YHWH. undecided

Additionally, the man Seth was not listed as a "Son of God". Rather, he was born in the likeness of his father, Adam, is what is written in the book. undecided
In the Bible the Sons of God where specifically referring to Angels. Though some translations also included the Descendants of Seth I'll stick with the Fallen Angels option cos that's the more fitting here. However I believe if they were humans, they may have been possessed by these fallen angels.
For me personally I'll stick with the fallen angels taking on human forms to marry the women

The nephilims where already on earth.

It's talking about the blood line of Adam son Seth. It is about a human relationship.

Angels don't matter with humans, it is not possible, only a male sperm can fertilize a female ovum. You did biology or basic science in school. Why are you suspending that knowledge?
I get your point but what about the angle of them possessing humans in order to marry this women.
It's not certain if the Nephilims were offspring of the Union between the Sons of God and the women they marry. Whichever it's not stated whether they were already on earth before now or after

1. Where in the compendium of books did you obtain this connection from? And, do learn to separate religious gobbledegook from the facts— focus only on the facts. undecided

2. Regardless, this is an error in those translations, given that no directional connection is made in any of the books between sons of Seth and Sons of God. undecided

3. Neither were the sons of Seth depicted as fallen angels. This is all just religious propaganda at play! undecided

4. Again, these ideas regarding those written of in Genesis 6 are of religious bullsheet! They are referred to as Sons of Elohim ... not sons of fallen angels. undecided

5. Of course, you wil,l since your religious brainwashing compels you to cling to that which is irrational, no matter what. undecided

If you would read the book with your own eyes, you would pretty much note the falsehoods in the many claims you have been subjected to thus far. undecided

The book clearly does not state that the Nephilims—Giants/warriors of the time — were sons of the Son of God. Rather, what is written in Genesis 6 is that the Nephilims existed before and after the Sons of God bore children with the daughters of men. The mention that the same went on to become Gegbrim — this part either is a reference to just the Nephilim or the descendants of the sons of God, or even both. But something tells me this is instead regarding the descendants of the Sons of God who are recorded as renowned men of Old in the Genesis story of the Israelites. undecided

1. The following was not your bullsheet response from earlier?....

2. There was no other planet/alien space mentioned in Job 1vs 6 ; your so-called "court of heaven" is not recorded to have taken place on another planet or space outside of the earth. undecided

3. Nonsense! Consult your previous statement You claimed that the references to the foundation and cornerstones of the Earth were, according to you, metaphorical, so how were you able to jump to the conclusion that it was all about the Earth's creation(not even the beginning of creation that is documented in the Book of Genesis)? huh
You still haven't made any progress, just dishing out the same redundant "rebuttals".

The "court of heaven" is a reference to your posit that farmers of UzšŸ˜… were filing in and out of God's throne room. You should have understood it's a jab at your statement.

The other point you brought up used metaphorical phrases such as "the foundation of the earth" etc,. to connote the creation process of the Earth—God asked Job these questions. The context there is about the creation of the Earth.

If you have any other thing to add, kindly do so. You have conflated two different responses of mine to bring out a sheepish statement.

Yeah, you can but other verses put in the lense of these, reveals them to be angels!
Satan is called a morning star🌟, he was mentioned as a cherubšŸ¤”. So, yes there's sample information to draw some inference.

Jesus being called Son of God was used by his disciples, the Jewish context never ever expresses anyone as a Son of God! The part in Genesis when the generation of Seth began to seek the Lord and call themselves sons of God is an exception, probably due to Moses' first hand report.
Hence, context wise, those verse don't refer to men especially the one of Job. The verse in Genesis is still debatable.

Heavenly beings in the Jewish context are termed Angels. The Jewish context doesn't have aliensšŸ˜…, anything Extra terrestrial was classified as an heavenly being. This is expressly stated in the tanakh.

While it's "carnal wisdom" as you called it but it's the only answer the data suggests. The same way trinity was arrived upon by the available data. The historical context, Jewish context, doesn't warrant you imputing Sonship to men. That's why Jesus had to bring it up, by asking a rhetorical question, "how come they were called gods?"

This is the major reason Jesus was killed—nothing less, nothing more. If the Jews had been so comfortable with humans bearing sons of God they won't have killed Jesus 🤨.

I am not guessing. From early Jewish context, men were not sons of God—They were sons of men. The appropriate word was servant etc.

The concept of "sons of God" was only applied to some certain heavenly beings, which could boast of direct inheritance from God.

While in the present church we are known as sons of God through Jesus Christ our Lord but at that time and context—No one was a son of God!

The context warrants such an intrepreation. You are looking at it with an anachronistic view, it's a chronological fallacy on your part. If it didn't apply to angels then it would have applied to gods but the general term heavenly beings, for accuracy is more befitting!

This doesn't change anything related to salvation but only brings clarity, if needed on such topics.

Wrong, Solomon was called the Son of God and God called the entire Israel his children. But no where did he call angels his Sons so there again you are wrong.
Now, let's assume that Sons of God as stated meant only heavenly beings, who decided that they are angels? You or God? My point is, stop making up scripture.
Below are some old testament/ Jewish scripture where God referred to man/men as his son's/ children.

Exodus 4:22–23
Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ā€˜Thus says the Lord, ā€œIsrael is My son, My firstborn. So I said to you, ā€˜Let My son go that he may serve Me’...ā€

Deuteronomy 14:1–2
You are the children of the Lord your God. ... For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself.

Hosea 11:1
When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son.

Isaiah 1:2
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: ā€œI have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me.ā€

Psalm 82:6
I said, ā€œYou are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.ā€

2 Samuel 7:14 (God speaking about Solomon to David)
I will be his father, and he shall be My son

1 Chronicles 28:6 (David recounting God’s words about Solomon)
He said to me, ā€˜It is your son Solomon who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his father.’

Hosea 1:10
... in the place where it was said to them, ā€œYou are not My people,ā€ there it shall be said to them, ā€œYou are sons of the living God.ā€

All these verses prove that your theory is false.

Satan was not called a Son of God. I am sure the bible never referred to Satan as an Angel.

Wrong again, Solomon was a son of God. Also, if your argument is that the old testament did not call any man a son of God, how come you don't extend the argument to Angels since you know that no where in both the old or the new testament were they called angels?

Heavenly beings in the Jewish context are termed Angels. The Jewish context doesn't have aliensšŸ˜…, anything Extra terrestrial was classified as an heavenly being. This is expressly stated in the tanakh.

Wrong again. The Jewish text never claimed that all heavenly beings are angels. Please prove your point.
In fact, cherubims in the old testament were never called angels.
The Bible treats cherubim as a distinct order of heavenly beings, not just another word for angels.

This is the major reason Jesus was killed—nothing less, nothing more. If the Jews had been so comfortable with humans bearing sons of God they won't have killed Jesus 🤨.[
You forget that Jesus reminded the Jews of their scriptures that declare men to be sons of God.
Let's read the Jewish scripture together.

John 10:34–36
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Psalm 82:6
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Summary
From reading the old and new testament, only man, not angels are referred to as Son of God.
Also there are other heavenly creatures such as Cherubim not only angels.

You are confusing everything. It is of little importance if the Jews believed or not. My question is, did the writers of the scriptures believe? If the prophets who wrote that man is a child of God believed, then you have no leg to stand on. We can then both understand that the writers of the Old Testament indicated that man is God's son, and neither the Old nor the New Testament talks about angels as God's son. So where did you get that idea? Definitely not from the word of God, or did you just make it up?

You are still conflating things, the prophets were delivering God's words. The audience and context of the prophets doesn't warrant such but they wrote such by inspiration of the spirit because of what God had in mind for us all. That's why they were messages and prophecies from God. The same messages also contain excerpts that doesn't fit man. The context sons of God(elohim) in the literal sense was used for gods or angels based on the context. The concept of sons of God as used for us is in the metaphorical sense through faith!

Don't get it wrong! There's the literal and there's the metaphorical. Jesus' words claimed the literal. Even the metaphorical was not greatly received as a form of divinity but rather as a connotation of obedience! Nothing more, nothing less.

You still haven’t grasped the full picture. Angels are celestial beings—originally, the term ā€œangelā€ referred to heavenly or divine messengers who delivered the Lord’s words and carried out His will. Over time, the title was also applied to men, but only in the sense that they acted as messengers.

It is therefore imperative to understand that every celestial being described in Scripture has a role. Take cherubim, for example: they guarded the Garden of Eden after man’s fall, the Lord is depicted as riding upon a cherub, and they are consistently seen in His immediate presence. Even Jesus, when speaking of the resurrection, said that men will be like the angels in heaven—a categorical statement encompassing cherubim, seraphim, and all other heavenly beings.

As for the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures, Scripture does not provide sufficient clarity about their precise identities. What we do know is that there are celestial beings who dwell in heaven—the dwelling place of God—not in some alternate ā€œheavensā€ as you are trying to imply. The available evidence strongly suggests that ā€œangelsā€ is a broad, generic term for all celestial beings in God’s dwelling, though they exist in different orders and categories.

This is why your argument commits a categorical fallacy: Lucifer is repeatedly depicted with his angels, yet Scripture also tells us he is a cherub. The term ā€œcherubā€ carries a distinct role and function in God’s work—thus, Satan is both an angel and one who performs the duties of a cherub.

Now to your second point: God calls them His children because they do His will. Scripture makes this clear—all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. My nationality, whether Nigerian or otherwise, is irrelevant; what matters is obedience. Through obedience, I am a son, though not in the sense of sharing God’s divine essence. That privilege comes through Christ, who imputes His righteousness to me so that I might bear His nature.

Yes, the Jews were called God’s children, but they did not share His nature. Only angels—or ā€œgodsā€ in the sense of being spiritual beings—possessed some form of divine nature, for they are spirits. The Jews understood this well, which is why obedience to God was paramount in the Torah—through obedience, one could attain sonship. Even now, I am a spirit living in flesh; though I have Christ, my earthly nature still awaits the promise that on the last day, I shall be like Him—sharing fully in His nature.

Gabrielshow24:

You are missing the point. It's this simple. Did the bible clearly state that man is the Son of God? Yes, it did in both the Old and New Testaments.
Did the bible ever state or imply that angels are the sons of God? No. Not in the Old nor the New Testaments.
Final deduction: You made up the angels are sons of God theory or you are depending on other books, not the bible. In that case, you need to tell us the books you quote from. Simple.

You’ve already admitted that the context in Job cannot apply to man—so why now demand an explicit, word-for-word declaration when the very context of those passages already points to angels?

It is not I who am ignoring Scripture; it is you who are turning away from what is written. The Jewish and scribal tradition is not silent here—they affirm exactly what you’re denying.

You still haven’t grasped the full picture. Angels are celestial beings—originally, the term ā€œangelā€ referred to heavenly or divine messengers who delivered the Lord’s words and carried out His will. Over time, the title was also applied to men, but only in the sense that they acted as messengers.
Yes, angels are celestial beings, but they are not the only beings in heaven. Again, here is the list below.

Jesus said man will be like angels, not like cherubim. His statement in no way encompasses cherubim, seraphim, and all other heavenly beings. It is clear enough that he only referred to Angels. No verse refers to cherubim as angels.

Revelation 5:11 proves that angels, living creatures, and the elders are completely different.
"Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

No, I never admitted such. Again, the very context of those passages does not point to angels. We just learnt that angels are not the only beings in heaven.

I just quoted from the Jewish scripture (the Old Testament) several times, and I have given you the opportunity to quote any verse that calls angels sons of God. And you can't.

Jesus is rightly called the Son of God because He had no earthly father—His origin is directly from God. This same truth applies to spirits, but not to men. Men attain sonship only through faith and obedience. You have a point, God is the Father of all spirits, including the spirits of man. Our origin is directly from God.
Zechariah 12:1
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

Like Jesus Christ, our spirits come from God. He is 100% our Father. Now Jesus Christ is the only begotten, not angels.

So tell me—if angels were not the sons of God in Job, then who were these heavenly beings standing before the Lord? Men? In heaven? Before the incarnation? Explain that.
Great question. We depend on revelation and not opinion. It could have been man or any of the other beings in heaven. We can speculate, but it is only right to wait on the Lord for revelation and not create our own religion.

You are still repeating your self! Let's use your logic, given the absence of cherubims at the throne room of God, does that mean there are no cherubs? Or is Satan the only Cherub? If you can answer that question truthfully, you see the mistake in your thinking.

Now the specific reason why the "Four creatures and Elders" were emphasized was because of their work. There's insufficient information to suggest otherwise. When the bible was to highlight something it does it in the same vein. Psam148:2 brings out an inference that angels and hosts are synonymous as angels are his heavenly hosts. Obviously the four creatures, and even the elders are part of his hosts. It just a categorical expression. There are other verses that suggest such, at the top of my head, this is one I can provide.

Yes, called them children because they are his children at least their spirits are🤨, from the physical perspective, you are the offspring of your Father and you possess his traits. From this, it's physically wrong for you claim to be a son of God at least as at then, but by Faith and spiritual knowledge of Jesus , we are sons of God!

Angels don't share the nature of God but are rather spirits that share divine attributes. Hence the major reason I said "in the sense of being spiritual beings". You are just repeating yourself.

The specific reason the ā€œfour living creaturesā€ and the ā€œeldersā€ are emphasized is because of their work. There’s insufficient biblical data to suggest otherwise. When Scripture wants to highlight something, it does so with a purpose and in a consistent manner. Psalm 148:2 makes it clear—angels and hosts are used synonymously, for the angels are His heavenly hosts. Obviously, the four creatures and the elders are part of that host; it’s simply a categorical expression. There are other verses that support this, but this one alone is enough to illustrate the point.

Yes, God called them children because they were His—at least in spirit. From a physical standpoint, you are the offspring of your earthly father and bear his traits. That’s why, before Christ, it would have been inaccurate to call yourself a son of God in the full sense. But through faith in Christ and the spiritual knowledge of Him, we have become sons of God.

Angels do not share God’s nature, but as spiritual beings, they share certain divine attributes. That’s exactly why I said, ā€œin the sense of being spiritual beings.ā€ You’re still circling the same point without advancing the argument.

So let me ask you this:
If angels are not ā€œsons of God,ā€ why is Job 38:7 explicit in calling them such before man was even created?

If ā€œsons of Godā€ in Job were men, which men were standing before God before Adam existed?

If the heavenly hosts include angels, elders, and creatures, why would you exclude them from the very title Scripture gives to the heavenly host?

And if Lucifer was both a cherub and had ā€œhis angelsā€ with him, how do you avoid the conclusion that cherubim fall under the broader category of angels?

Answer these without dismissing the text—and you’ll see where your position collapses.
Re: Who Were The Angels That Mated With Women In Genesis 6 Verse 2? by Gabrielshow24:
You say you ā€œnever admitted such,ā€ yet your earlier acknowledgement that ā€œangels are not the only beings in heavenā€ already concedes that beings in heaven were present in Job’s scene. That’s exactly my point. Job 38:7 says, ā€œthe morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joyā€ā€”this is before man was created. You cannot insert ā€œmenā€ here without creating an anachronism. Men were not yet in existence, nor were ā€œeldersā€ or ā€œother beingsā€ mentioned in the Genesis account. The only beings Scripture shows present before man are angels (Job 1:6; 2:1).

If these ā€œsons of Godā€ were not angels, identify any other beings Scripture explicitly shows existing before Adam, capable of appearing before God in His heavenly court.

Your challenge ignores the reality of ancient Hebrew idiom. In the Old Testament, ā€œsons of Godā€ (bene ha’elohim) is a categorical term for heavenly beings in God’s service. This includes angels, as affirmed by the Septuagint (LXX), which translates it as angels of God in Job 1:6, Job 2:1, and Job 38:7. Jewish scholarship from the Second Temple period through the Targums also understood these as angels.

Even the New Testament echoes this: in Luke 20:36, Jesus says of the resurrected, ā€œThey can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.ā€ The ā€œlike the angelsā€ here directly ties angelic beings to the sonship of God in the heavenly realm.

Why does the inspired Greek translation of the Old Testament (LXX) call these beings ā€œangels of Godā€ if they were not angels? Was every Jewish scribe and translator wrong for over 2,000 years, and only you right?

You’re conflating two distinct senses of sonship—ontological (nature) and relational (obedience). In the full ontological sense, only Christ shares the divine nature as the ā€œonly begotten Son.ā€ Angels are sons by creation and role; men become sons by adoption through Christ (Galatians 4:4–7). This is why Paul makes a distinction between ā€œchildren of Godā€ and ā€œchildren of wrathā€ (Ephesians 2:3). If all men were God’s sons ā€œin every sense,ā€ that distinction collapses, making Paul’s teaching meaningless.

If all humans are sons of God ā€œin every senseā€ without Christ, why does Scripture speak of adoption, new birth, and being ā€œborn of Godā€?

Yes—Hebrews 12:9 affirms He is the ā€œFather of spirits.ā€ But that title does not erase category differences. He is also ā€œLord of lordsā€ without every ruler being equal in authority. Fatherhood in Scripture can describe origin, relationship, or nature—context determines which. Jesus’ sonship is unique, angels’ sonship is by creation, and believers’ sonship is by adoption and regeneration. Zechariah 12:1 only shows that the human spirit comes from God, not that man has always held the heavenly court rank of ā€œsons of Godā€ prior to redemption.

Your speculation fails for one simple reason: Scripture never shows pre-incarnate man or ā€œother beingsā€ besides angels in the heavenly court before God. Every direct ā€œdivine councilā€ scene in Scripture (Job 1–2, 1 Kings 22, Daniel 7) features angels. By introducing an undefined ā€œother beingsā€ category without Scriptural support, you are doing the very thing Matthew 15:9 warns against—teaching the commandments of men in place of God’s Word.

Where—chapter and verse—does Scripture describe these ā€œother beingsā€ in heaven before man’s creation, participating in God’s court? If you cannot produce such a text, your ā€œrevelationā€ is just speculation.

If Job’s ā€œsons of Godā€ are not angels, you must either:

Place men in heaven before Adam existed (contradicting Genesis), or

Invent an undefined category of heavenly beings Scripture never names, describes, or shows in God’s court.

Both options break the plain reading of the text, the testimony of Jewish tradition, and the harmony of Scripture. The simplest, most consistent, and biblically supported view is the one held for millennia: in Job, the ā€œsons of Godā€ are angels—God’s heavenly host.

It is just let asking, if you are a man and you have your dogs with you, how do you avoid the conclusion that men fall under the broader category of dogs.
Even to you, this can't make any sense.

Answer these without dismissing the text
I hope I have answered without dismissing any text, and my position is looking ever stronger.

Good lesson

judewrites:
šŸ“– Genesis 6
ĀÆĀÆĀÆĀÆĀÆĀÆĀÆĀÆĀÆĀÆ
¹ And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

² That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

The 'sons of God' in this scripture was a reference to a special set of 200 angels who presented themselves to God's service (Job 1: 6)

God appointed these angels known as the watchers to carefully observe the first race of mankind.

However the angels motivated by Samyaza their leader, betrayed God's trust by taking human wives and fathering giants with them known as the Nephilim.

Not just that, these angels taught mankind forbidden knowledge which provoked iniquity like weaponology, astrology, cosmetology, enchantments, magic, etc.

It was primarily because of the intermingling of these angels that God engulfed the earth with water: their offsprings (the Nephilim) polluted the earth with excessive bloodshed; they consumed animals, humans and eventually even themselves.

šŸ“– And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
— Jude 1:6

Despite desperate pleas for forgiveness, God imprisoned these angels deep underneath the earth in absolute darkness awaiting the white throne judgement. (Revelations 20:11-15)

What initially prompted these angels was their lustful desire for beautiful women.

Today, as a result of looking lustfully at women, (especially through pornography) a lot of men have fallen into all kinds of sexual sin that brings divine judgement.

As a man, you should be careful how you look at a woman (and vice versa) as lust is equivalent to adultery. (Matthew 5:28)

God didn't spare these angels as they willingly chose to disobey Him notwithstanding the consequences. (2 Peter 2:4)

If we continually choose to disobey God especially in sexual misconduct, we might end up as these angels. God forbid šŸ™.

The marriage bed was, is and will remain undefiled. (Hebrews 13:4)

You keep insisting you ā€œdepend on revealed words, not logic,ā€ yet you are making interpretive leaps that are neither explicitly stated in the text nor supported by consistent hermeneutics. The irony is that your refusal to acknowledge the biblical use of ā€œsons of Godā€ for angels is precisely you applying selective logic while ignoring the broader witness of Scripture.

On your ā€œcherubs are not angelsā€ point — Ezekiel 28:14–16 makes Lucifer a cherub, yet Isaiah 14:12–14 calls him a ā€œmorning starā€ (Hebrew helel ben shachar), a heavenly being who fell. Revelation 12:7–9 tells us his rebellion involved ā€œhis angels.ā€ This is not ā€œwuruwuru logicā€; it’s recognizing that ā€œcherubimā€ are a class within the broader category of heavenly messengers/servants — what Scripture repeatedly calls mal’akim (angels). The Bible doesn’t need to say ā€œcherubs are angelsā€ in one sentence for the category connection to be valid; the cross-references establish it. By your standard, the Trinity could not exist because no single verse says ā€œGod is three persons in one essence,ā€ yet we believe it because of cumulative textual evidence.

As for Psalm 148:2, it does not ā€œshow the differenceā€ between angels and hosts — it shows angels as part of the heavenly host. In Hebrew poetry, parallelism is common — two phrases reinforcing one idea. ā€œPraise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hostsā€ is a poetic doubling, not a categorical separation. The same construct appears in Psalm 103:20–21, where ā€œangelsā€ and ā€œhostsā€ are clearly overlapping. To read it as a hard distinction is to ignore the style of Hebrew poetry entirely.

Your claim that ā€œJesus is the only begotten Son physically, not angelsā€ misses the category difference. No one is saying angels are ā€œphysically bornā€ of God — the term ā€œsons of Godā€ in the Old Testament is applied to beings who have their origin directly from God’s creative act, without human procreation. That is why Adam is called ā€œson of Godā€ in Luke 3:38 — he had no earthly father. That is why angels — created directly by God — fit the literal category, whereas believers become sons by adoption (John 1:12, Galatians 4:5).

On Job 38:7 — you can dodge by saying ā€œangelsā€ isn’t written there, but the verse places the ā€œsons of Godā€ rejoicing before the foundations of the earth. No human existed then. No human spirit was walking around in heaven cheering at creation. Your use of Ephesians 1:4 is a category error — it speaks of God’s foreknowledge and election, not our pre-existence. Scripture does not teach the pagan doctrine of eternal human spirits cohabiting with God before creation.

The ā€œmorning starsā€ in Job 38:7 are parallel to ā€œsons of Godā€ in Hebrew poetic form — a stylistic equivalence, not a separate group. Elsewhere in Scripture, stars are symbols for angels (Job 4:18, Revelation 1:20, Revelation 9:1). This makes perfect sense: angels existed before man, were present at creation, and are elsewhere called ā€œsons of Godā€ (Job 1:6, Job 2:1).

Finally, if your standard is ā€œshow me where it says exactly X,ā€ you will have to throw out large portions of Christian theology. The Bible never says, ā€œGod is omniscientā€ in those exact words, yet His all-knowing nature is undeniable from the texts. Likewise, the cumulative, consistent witness of Job 1:6, Job 2:1, Job 38:7, and Genesis 6:2–4 (taken with Luke 20:36, Psalm 103:20, Hebrews 1:7,14) affirms that ā€œsons of Godā€ in these contexts are heavenly beings — angels — not men.

The real problem here is not that Scripture is unclear, but that you have locked yourself into an interpretation that forces you to redefine plain terms, ignore the Hebrew poetic structure, and invent a pre-creation human existence in the courts of heavenšŸ˜‚ that the Bible nowhere teaches.

Let me understand your question. Are you saying that neither men nor elders, nor other beings, were in existence at the time Job was talking about? Oga, are you just making up things for God? Funny enough, man was even mentioned in the bible before angels, so where did you get your timeline to show that angels came before man, cherubim, Seraphim, the elders, and other heavenly creatures? Please explain your logic.

I have repeatedly provided scripture in the Old Testament to prove you are wrong.
Now to the words of Jesus in the book of Luke
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
Man is equal to the angels because he can die no more; it doesn't make angels Sons of God. Please read with understanding.
Why does the inspired Greek translation of the Old Testament (LXX) call these beings ā€œangels of Godā€ if they were not angels? Was every Jewish scribe and translator wrong for over 2,000 years, and only you right?
Which verse are you talking about? Remember, the internet can get us all translations, so be clear on the verse, and I will check the Greek translation. Again, the Old Testament was written in Hebrew, not Greek, so why confuse yourself? Find the Hebrew translation.

Again, angels are not called sons of God, only man and Christ has that title in the scriptures

If all humans are sons of God ā€œin every senseā€ without Christ, why does Scripture speak of adoption, new birth, and being ā€œborn of Godā€?

It means to be born of the spirit, to accept Him.

You agree He is the Father of our spirits, then I rest my case. Our spirits came much before our bodies. Tell me where it states that He is the Father of angels

You mean Chirubims are recent inventions in heaven? Please quote and explain how Job 1–2, 1 Kings 22, and Daniel 7 relate to the discussion. I don't understand your point. Also, show me one thing I have said that is not 100% backed by scripture. I said man is the Son of God, is that not in your bible? You said angels are His children, and since yesterday, I have been begging you for a verse. Please point out where I have taught you the doctrines of man.

Where—chapter and verse—does Scripture describe these ā€œother beingsā€ in heaven before man’s creation, participating in God’s court? If you cannot produce such a text, your ā€œrevelationā€ is just speculation.
But this makes no sense. Where does Scripture describe angels in heaven before man’s creation? Again, you are depending on your human logic to decide for God that man was created before the other beings. Give me the timeline of creation according to you.

If Job’s ā€œsons of Godā€ are not angels, you must either:

I don't get. I am a son of God.
Place men in heaven before Adam existed (contradicting Genesis), or

Invent an undefined category of heavenly beings Scripture never names, describes, or shows in God’s court.

Let's see what your bible said about man's existence.
Ephesians 1:4-5
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Jeremiah 1.5
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations
