Does one needs to legalized documents at ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs to apply for Brazil visa?

The right word is authenticate, not legalize. You authenticate your documents at MOE/MOFA

Good afternoon please must l go with with the course l study in degree ..cause l want to apply for any available courses that is open but Aline with science..when is GCUB scholarship publishing there results of people that was given admission..l applied in ufrg university in Brazil l got an email from them 3 days ago my name and one other person was denied admission l don’t know why ..how wish l can run it on my own agent is requesting 2m to run the admissions and visa for me omo is too expensive..please who can help me on guard line on how to go about l will really appreciate.omo 2m is quite too much l came back from Mauritius last year l went for study too but the country stop renewing permit for Nigeria’s ..who go help

The right word is authenticate, not legalize. You authenticate your documents at MOE/MOFA

The ministry of foreign affairs also legalize documents. So he is correct

It's not by checking google, in reality they are quite different.

For Brazil application for example, Brazil embassy does legalization, same with lots of countries.

Some people use both interchangeably and get confused.

This in my opinion isnt a nice decision. PG is more than anything goes, it should be based on your research intentions and not just the course of study.

Reach out to the desired departmental pages and google up Professors and their research or better still check for the departmental research lines and pick. Not just by the course because it could be frustrating along the line.

For admissions in Brazil, all you need first is an admission. One advise again could be to check for institutions in the North or Northeast. However, you might end up being one of the few Nigerians or foreigners you will find there, but that still isnt a problem. Why is because there are not so much rush for those places.

With that being said, regarding your visa application, you dont need to be bogus about your documents most especially the bank statement. Most often, as a postgraduate, you would get a scholarship so puting a statement of account is just to fulfil all righteousness. I know of someone who got the GCUB and she did not provide a statement of account and she was granted. But then, na different head we get abi?

Also, you can apply for your family at the same time with yourself. I got for my wife at the same time with mine even without a scholarship.

So if you dont have a scholarship, dont bother. I got mine after 2 months of arriving here. So dont panic, everything will work out fine.

Like I have said before, you can do this yourself so no let someone call pawpaw big mango for you o.

DON'T TRAVEL TO BRAZIL BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR YOUR DEPENDANTS.

AS A BENEFICIARY OF A TEMPORAY VISA, (VITEM 1, IV and V) You can travel with your family, IF YOU WANT.
But you have to apply for them after you've gotten your own visa. DON'T Travel to Brazil before you start your dependants' application. Apply immediately you receive your Visa. As the main applicant, all you need to add to your dependants' application are the copy of the VISA page and your DATA Page.

And of course, sufficient proof of funds alongside the other documents of your dependants.

The moment you entered Brazil the main applicant will be required to add more documents, which you might not be able to provide on time...
