I'll date and marry outside my social class if I get attracted to a good girl who is not in my class. As a graduated professional, I can marry a village girl who hasn't gone to the university if she meets other things I desire in my woman, after all whether graduate or not, women still expect you to carry the family's financial burdens. So, why should I care about the educational background of the girl I'll marry? Of what benefits would that be to me?

Believe the OP, life is complicated enough without marrying someone you'd then have to brush up. Besides, she could feel she had no need to be "brushed up", infact feel that as an insult - if you felt she wasn't good enough did she force you to marry her??

He is supposed to provide for her yet reports have it that in Nigeria alone, almost 50% of women in marriages are the breadwinners? I guess the lack of education has not really impacted the ability of women to provide for even educated men, huh??

If, you think education is only necessary for male providers then you really need your brain thoroughly vacuumed there.

We're the ones complicating life for ourselves. Social strata were man-made ideology and it doesn't take much for people to adjust into new social class. It's all selfishness of humans that make them think they're in a "better" social class.
