I think there was a time fans were clamoring for beautiful footie, they saw that today with improvement and system being implemented unlike when Ten Hag was here instead of them to support and take a back seat, they are here opposing the coach they didn’t appoint but the board appointed themselves. If they don’t sack him, you can help us type his sack letter yourselves. But, I know we will get better even if you guys don’t want us to calling yourself a fie hard fan
You de mind them? Very annoying humans.

Caping shit all day. Good thing is it’s only on this thread. I’ve been on Reddit, twitter and other platforms, even Liverpool and City fans gave united their flowers.

Today I’ve seen that we have enemies of progress here.

It's not unique. We cannot win or draw every game. We can try to win as many games as possible. Today was one of those games we knew we could lose. Unfortunately we lost to some silly goal but it was still one of those we needed something very very special to get something out of. Our next game is against Fulham. That's the one we should waiting for
Arsenal didn't didn't do anything special today. Man U were just disappointing in attack against a team trying to maintain a one goal lead

Omo which kind talk be this now bro.

I will take a L and watch my team improve them win with some scrappy performance
Ls land you in 15th place and lower

You seem to be the type that wouldnt mind us being in a relegation battle as long as you can console yourself with the "we were the better team" mantra.

We have some upcoming difficult fixtures and the earlier we started picking up points and avoiding losses, the better.

Points count, not all these una "we played better than Arsenal" nonsense.

Like for real, we played better for full 90mins+ but unlucky to score and you are still on an agenda of not backing your present coach but looking for his downfall. If we ask them now when last have they watched Man U played like this, na to bring another agenda.

Honestly, I can’t take you seriously anymore because you seem like the type that would want us to get scrappy wins just so you could scream 'GGMU.' Then we’d lose 5-0 to big teams and finish 5th, 7th, or at best 3rd at the end of each season, but never challenging for the league trophy.

Mister, how do you expect to win the league? I don’t mind us losing some points if we’re improving overall. Besides, playing well can never land you in 15th place; the least you should be is in the top 7."

Amorim style has your players spaced awide from each other and for some reason, you don't play long balls .. 😕😕😕
.

Una go collect ball , una no go fit find una man .

Make una kuku dey use long ball find una man .. all these short short passing around no go help that much..

Bro, you can see right through them. It's very obvious they want the coach to fail so they can prove a point.

Funny enough, you could see signs of improvement during the preseason, but they all turned a blind eye.

Now season has started, we dominated Arsenal the entire match. Bro, our scoring issues weren’t even like last season, where there was no sign of hope. Watching United last season was painful; I just knew the attacks were leading nowhere, just clueless runs and back passes.

But now they play with a plan in mind. You can see that they are intentional. In fact, the issue wasn’t a lack of creating chances; the Arsenal goalkeeper was just good enough.

Mr "Ls"...accumulating losses and consoling yourself with "we played well" wouldnt get us anywhere...That's a fact!

I still stand with what I said - it is better to manage to get results while improving gradually.

What sets aside Top sides from others is the ability to grind out results even without playing well. Results make top sides..not some "we played well" nonsense.

Na Amorim i blame sha - he has set the standards to an all time low thats why people like yourself wouldnt mind 7th position, despite being in the top 5 spenders in the whole of Europe.

What do you mean by have we played 5 matches or did Amorim just become the coach? We have been seeing what he was implementing from last season and na relegation we nearly go. This season has also opened up with an L but I should be seeing implementation. Oga implementation means nothing if you can't convert it to wins. Other fan base dey hail us but we have no points to show for it.

Where has all your scrappy wins landed you in the past? Let be guess “back to improving the overall squad from scratch”

It’s either you pick one

1. Improving overall

2. Or just switching to vibes football and scrape wins

You cant eat your cake and have it. If a few did, you might be among the majority that wouldn’t, else you get burnt trying (like we saw in the past).

You can continue to accumulate losses and wallow in self pity of "we played well".

I still stand with what I said - results are what define teams...not some emotional consolations after home losses.

At the end of the day, it is the league table (by virtue of points) that counts, not possession or shots on goal. Nobody cares about these things in the grand scheme of things because they are a means to an end. The end is results!

My problem with you is that you're not dynamic in your reasoning, or you purposely choose not to be for the sake of an agenda.

Improving overall will only get you better, and there's no way a team with an improved style of play will finish 15th; the least they should finish is in the top seven. I would take that, knowing full well that the team has improved with a style of play and the board can focus on the few missing pieces.

But I know your type: you can't delay gratification; you want instant satisfaction. You want us to abandon the philosophy that Amorim is implementing, switch to "vibe football," and scrape out stupid wins so you can argue with your Liverpool friend at work tomorrow. It's very shortsighted.

I stand by my notion that a loss while drilling new tactics, styles, and a philosophy is better than the instant wins you want. Besides, an improved squad will never finish 15th. For example, if we finish sixth this season but the players have fully adapted to a style by the end of the season, that's better than finishing third with no identity—just vibes and hope.

Vibes and hope will only make you waste money in the transfer window because you won't even know what you want or the type of players you need.

You supposed to know that agenda has blinded so many opposers’ eyes. I don’t think Man I had ever played Arsenal this way since Ten Hag was the coach. Maybe they want Ten Hag back I don’t really know sef

This one is now even allergic to CL football all in the name of "identity" grin

I see you belong to the "long term gains" crew- the same people on these pages that have repeatedly asked that we relegate and start afresh to build an "identity".

You also seem to be more interested in Amorim's philosophy and not the club's immediate recovery plan - a plan that is emphasised by the hundreds of millions of pounds investments.

"Sacrifice Short term gains for long term success"...no wonder you were fine with our 15th position finish last season.

Some of you should be supporting the likes of Burnley and Blackpool honestly - na una standard be that!

Dreamchaser indeed. Your relegation dreams chase for the club wouldnt come to reality...insha allah!! grin

Ugarte is ùsélêss, hopefully Mainoo gonna be better. Ain't sure our business is not over yet in the tw.
Why do we have to sell Onana to buy a new Keeper, send him to the U21s together with Bayindir and forget them there until they are ready to move. We need to be more brutal and ruthless. Just Buy another keeper and stick him to the reserves.
Hojlund wey de do agidi, shey de don shut am out of the team. He was trying to draw us back, like he want to fight for his place. Man United is not a club for fighting for place.

This season is for both. We have had seasons under JM, Ole, ETH in which we did wuruwuru to the answer and made Top 4 but what we found out quickly is that it is not sustainable. It never lasted more than 1 season.

This season we need wins and points. We also need markedly improved football. I would not be satisfied if he falls short on either one.

In other news Wayne Rooney's son made his official Under-18 debut yesterday at age 15. Fletcher's sons are in Under-21. Carrick's son in Under-16. That is one way of recreating the United DNA.

We can't be waiting for easy games to decide how good we are.
Take note that the number of good teams in the EPL has increased.
Every game should be treated as war. We just came from a shambolic season and it is unacceptable to lose your first game at home no matter how good you played.
This game was treated as a war from beginning, yet we lost. We pressed and pushed Arsenal back from beginning. Maybe your own definition of war is different. Just know that no be everybody dey win war o

the understanding in attack should get better as they play together. the new signings are all ball players. this is very important.

Casemiro and Shaw were tidy. a game every other week for both should keep them at optimum condition.

Bayindir needs to command the box better. His distribution was alright today.
Spot on...I was very impressed with the distribution of Bayindir but that error that led to the goal is unforgivable.
