He lacks the tactical discipline to play that role. Someone who does not understand football will blame Casemiro for tracking back slowly in the first place not realising that it was Bruno’s wandering that opened up the lacuna in the midfield.

Another game, another time, Casemiro doesn’t catch up and we concede a shot or goal. Dalot and Casemiro immediately understood the assignment while Bruno didn’t. It’s not about ability as a footballer but suitability for a role.

There is nobody as limited as Ugarte or with Ugarte's skill profile in the squads of Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern, Barca. All our players should be decent to good on the ball. All our players should be decent to good in terms of physicality. That is the way to move the team forward. No weak links.

A player whose best trait is tackling and sliding into players and worst trait is on the ball ability, has no use in a top team. I keep saying this is AWB situation all over again. Teams with perpetual EPL survival and midtable ambitions will love him.

If we fix the GK issue and buy a quality CM i think we will make Top 5. If we don't i don't see us making Top 5.

Yeah, because the direct approach leaves space behind and I don't see anyone who's a space eater abi how them dey call am pass for the squad. Anyways, I feel they'll go for another CM before window closes. I doubt if they'll get another keeper though.

.....unpopular opinion; I think Mount will do better as a CM. We can have both Bruno and Mount as CMs, then both Cunha and Mbeumo as 10s. Let Sesko be the striker, instead of experimenting false 9 with Cunha.

We experimented Cunha as false 9 only because Sesko was not fit. Cunha and Mbeumo are the 10s.

Mount and Bruno can only play together as CMs against toothless small teams. Any good team will wreck us. Playing that role takes more than just energy and running around. There are positional decisions that will not come naturally to them, and we will end up with a donut in midfield.

In CM you can play Bruno OR Mount but not Bruno AND Mount.

Amorim looks like he doesn't trust Mainoo. Benched him in the semi finals and finals of the Europa league. Against Arsenal, he could have brought him on instead of Ugarte but he let him sit the game out. Isn't it obvious that Mainoo is better than Ugarte?

The Ugarte sub made no sense..considering the fact that we were chasing the game.

Mainoo would have been a good sub for a CB towards the tail end of the game when we literally threw the kitchen sink at Arsenal.

Unfortunately, we must always play 3 CBs and would rather stick Maguire upfront, hoping for some magic from him.

I honestly don’t understand this club…. We have glaring concerns yet they just keep watching and doing nothing. Why will a big club like United will still be using Bayindir in a new season, why can’t you get a new CM asap. Last match goalkeeper cost us that game and he will keep costing us unless something is done about it. Get me a goalkeeper una dey mad 😡
