You’re right that the economy is tough right now, and many families are feeling the pressure. But it’s also important to remember that not every broken home is because of Tinubu’s policies. Some marriages were already weak before the hardship came; the economy only exposed cracks that were there.

- Ensure you have a consistent, sustainable (growth options) and legitimate sources of income
- Have fewer children. This is the ultimate. The average Nigerian family need not have more than two children.
- For financially stable bachelors, avoid ladies who have too many siblings, especially if the siblings are still young or teenagers. The alternative is to check if her parents would be fully responsible for their care till they become adults. Too many Nigerian men take up the responsibilities of their in-laws whereas they should focus squarely on their new families

My wife buys the rest Maggi.. salt...pepper...spices...carton of chicken..some croaker fish, crayfish, vegetables when needed tomatoes to cook a pot of stew stored in the freezer, soup stored in the freezer

We earn almost the same thing..we own our house..I just pay the kids school fees and school needs...

Since the OP's research parameters are wrong, therefore the results can also be assumed to be wrong. You cannot compare single and financially settled men with married and financially struggling men. That's like comparing apples and oranges.
Either you compare single and married men who are all financially settled, or compare single and married men who are all struggling. That will be a level playing field.

There is no economy in the entire universe where financially struggling men will be expected to be happier than financially settled men, ceteris paribus.

Everything available for you to succeed as a man are also available to her. You can't afford to date a woman who has nothing to contribute financially. People are struggling to make ends meet, families are sleeping hungry, do you know how many people I know that have fallen out of the middle class into poverty? People having 3 cars now trekking, downgrading the schools their kids attend etc, kids can no longer digest milk as all they drink when available is fake milk not full creme. The lucky ones are those that japa before see finish entered. Imagine grown men over 50 years of age going abroad under cold to start life again after this regime and apc in general wrecked havoc on them.
