Wow. That's amazing. So happy for her.
And the rumours say that Naomi Eto'o has also signed for PSG.

Looks like a done deal.
Congrats to her - solid club to move to, with Champions League action every year.

We have a total of 42 players of Nigerian decent participating in this year's NCAA division 1 Women's Soccer season. They include players like:

1. WAFCON Champion Chioma Okafor

2. Colleen Udoh, daughter of Colin Udoh and Super Falcons Legend Mercy Akide

3. Skillful forward Joy Okonye who scored 2 free kicks just a few days ago to begin her season. (I've highlighted her before on this platform

4. Former flamingoes captain/players Alvine Da Zozzu and Etim Edidiong

5. 3 players playing for Randy Waldrum.

The link below contains the full list. Think it's a good page to follow in my opinion.

Moji Ayodele, Goalie for New Jersey Institute of Tech NJIT (NCAA D1), who will become a senior next year and likely join the NWSL draft.
Most definitely, one to keep an eye on.
Good height, very agile and good command of her area. She seems to be a decent keeper and could definitely be in the mix for our Super Falcons.

Joy Okonye where has she been all my life? That girl na serious baller. Left foot right foot, Pacy midfielder shocked If she is below 20 she needs to be called up to the falconets ASAP. The goalkeeper from NJIT also needs to be monitored. She looks calm and composed. The NFF needs to do a better job of scouting diaspora players. So many girls playing NCAA plus the agba ballers back home and we should be rubbing shoulder with the big girls of womens football like USA and Spain.

Except she has other plans, drafting her into any of our teams shouldn't be a problem. She's listed everywhere as Nigerian (born in Lagos) and is very likely not yet a US citizen. Couldn't get a profile that listed her age so do not know if she's eligible to play next year's u20 world cup. If she is, efforts should be made to get her on the team.

She's fast, can dribble, gives well weighted passes and can score goals too.

Below are some of the video links I could find on her:

This was from 2 years ago when I highlighted her after Deltamni initially brought our attention to her. Worthy of note is the fact that she's not a diasporan in that sense like Alozie and Toni who are Nigerian Americans. Joy was born in Nigeria and went to an academy in Ghana.

There's also another player "Chioma Okafor" who plays for UConn. She's however listed as Malawian. She grew up in Malawi and was recruited from there. Haven't see much to access her but it appears she's highly rated in Connecticut.

Chioma and Joy Okonye both played for the academy BlackRock FC
2 years ago, I highlighted Chioma Okafor and 2 years after she's a member of the Super Falcons.

The UEFA Women's Champion's League qualifiers is currently ongoing and a couple of Nigerian players are fighting for qualification with their team.

Rosengård started Anam Imo and Halimatu Ayinde earlier today in their game against LjubotenL. They won 5-0 with Anam Imo scoring a brace. Maryann Ogochukwu Ohadiwe featured for the opposing team LjubotenL.

Roma which has Super Falcon's duo Rinsola Babajide and Shukurat Oladipo currently leads their opponent 2-0. They both started with Rinsola bagging an assist.
