Manchester United are going nowhere with this manager. In this Premier league I can point out at least 15 managers that are tactically and technically better than him in the way they set up their team.
The weakest link in this Manchester united team is the manager and the technical bench. I fear for this team with this manager. He has so manipulated the fan base to accept mediocrity and failure as a normal thing.
On numerous occasions, i have assisted many people on these pages to self diagnose their Fanboyism ailment.

That is why I label them as Emotional chihuahua's. They only see what they want to see and try to shout any other opinion down. They have constituted themselves into a cult group that suffer from a form of cognitive dissonance. A stubborn refusal to see reality and the writing on the wall.
This same manager Amorim has so bad mouthed players he doesn’t want like Rashford,Garnacho,Sancho and others that no other football club is ready to buy them. Other clubs would rather take them on loans and pay £5 million fines at the end of the loan termination..
Like I said, I really fear the fate of this club under this manager because I can forsee doom and gloom in front. By the time a new manager is appointed in December it may be just too late and bridge too far.

How the hell did Bruno allow this Rowe Smith to pass him and score

Lack of defensive awareness. He should not be playing in that position. On form he should not be playing at all.

He was also probably pointing fingers and instructing people on how to do their jobs like he likes to do. Problem is that he often forgets his own job.

Not about to sir, they are the new mcfred and until this club stands on business and stop all this favoritism nonsense many days like this will keep coming….. A serious club will cash out on Bruno, 100 million on a 30 years old is huge. When last have we even cash out on a player with such huge amount, This club will learn by force.

It is what he was doing...There's was sequence of play where he was caught in possession of the ball after he delayed a pass for long because he was directing other players where to move to...

For us to make progress, Bruno has to be dropped. I don't see what he has achieved in his career for him to feel that he must be the one behind every positive play from the team.

I'd love to hear the take of a psychologist on Amorim's posture when we have a penalty in our favour and when we are defending a set piece...

For me, I don't think it inspires confidence at all...

29 games played.
15 games Lost
7 games won.
7 games drawn.
28 points from 29 games played!

How anyone can blame the players and excuse the manager for this disaster class is mind boggling. As someone said earlier, this manager has totally manipulated the fan base to accept mediocrity as the measurement standard.
Nothing more to say.

You don't need a psychologist to tell you that he is under immense pressure, and he is feeling it times 10.

imagine being too scared to watch a corner kick? grin
That means he knows there is a big problem there and he keeps putting out the same GKs and sticking with the same set piece coach.

That Man Utd pressure is not for everyone.

Na Fenibeso save us for this match. We could have conceded multiple goals from those corner kicks. How can one club have the 2 worst GKs in the league?

Fenibeso's grace was the difference between 1-1 and 4-1.

My concern now is that Grimsby game on Thursday.

The pressure/backlash that would result from crashing out to a league 2 team would be unbearable.

Luckily, we play Burnley before City.
I don't know of Burnley but you will beat city 🏙️

Amorim started looking at the floor during corner kicks so that Bayindir will not kill Amorim's mother's son for her. Hehehe.

I still think the Man-U players don't do enough to protect the keeper during corners.. I saw instances where Fulham were employing Assnal's dark art tactics of disrupt the goal keeper during corners
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by TrebleChamp(m): 8:36am On Aug 25, 2025
Is the that the players motivate themselves when playing against a big team? How do they drop performance level of Assnal game to what we saw yesterday? Same scenario last season...

It’s see finish. I believe it’s already a common knowledge since last season that our goal keepers are frail and erratic especially during set pieces. So all teams do is try to disrupt our goal keepers during corners and it works for them or almost does

Mos def. I have been calling for Amorim to change his set piece coach to avoid stories that touch since last season.

We are poor at set pieces both defensively and offensively. The organization is obviously faulty.

Actually the expression on his face looked like he was brainstorming/thinking ...

He wasn't doing that because he didn't want to watch the corners...

If I remember correctly, he was also looking down when man.u scored...

You're right, it is not a probability that he's instructing others but a reality. Look at picture very well. He's talking to a defender and not even bother to confront an opponent player at that very distress moment.
The guy really has problem

I really don't understand some coaches, you know the problem but you somehow refuse to solve it...Watch Amorim pressers, he analyses the issues very well but it appears he has no clue how to solve the issues...
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 9:46am On Aug 25, 2025
It is troubling that we immediately go on the defensive once the opponent steps up their game. I don't know if it's psychological but I swear I have seen it over and over again. The three CBs begin to be scared of leaving our 18-yard box, the midfielders drop deep, and the strikers are found in the middle of the pitch.

In the second half, Fulham were camped in our half of the pitch because as soon as we got the ball, we lost it again. We had/have no calm head in the middle who can receive the ball under pressure, keep his calm to find the next man or drive past a couple of challenges to take the team forward...

Iwobi drifted to the middle to over the midfield, so while we have a lot of bodies in our 18-yard box, they had just one or two Fulham players to contend with, leaving our midfield terribly exposed. In that instance, it's either Amorim instructed one of the CBs to push higher up into the midfield or remove one of them for a midfielder. The idea of playing 3 - 4 - 3 for the entirety of a game is stupid to say the least. The opponents study our game and make tactical adjustments, while he keeps it the same way for 90 minutes...

Amorim has not achieved too much in his young career to be so rigid and stubborn...Changing formation does not mean his preferred system has been found out, it is simply reacting to the demands of the game. Alonso is now playing 4 2 3 - 1 or 4-3-3, even though he achieved a lot playing 3-4-2-1 in Bayer Leverkusen. Comparing the German and Portuguese leagues, one would expect that it is Alonso who should be this stubborn in insisting it must be the method he used in Leverkusen or nothing, after all, the Bundesliga is a far superior league to the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
