Amorim:
He’s fighting for the position now with Bruno, And I change two midfielders. I let Mason Mount there because we want to score a goal and when I changed I felt the team need to return to one holding midfielder near Bruno.

"So he just needs to fight for the position with Bruno, as should be at Manchester United. He’s going to play with Bruno, but at the moment he’s fighting in training with Bruno for the position.

It appears the man is averse to logical changes all because he doesnt want to appear like a spineless coward that "tweaks and tinkers to please the crowd".

All i see is an egocentric, arrogant and stubborn manager with extremely limited tactical abilities.

I really don't think his abilities is limited because his diagnosis of our issues are always spot on...It's more above his ego, arrogance and stubbornness as you rightly put it.

He would analyse correctly, inform that the team would work on the gaps in training and boom - the same issues repeat or disappear with new ones coming up.

I hope INEOS have started searching for a manager that would take over on an interim basis.

No need to rush again and make the same mistakes.

I am thinking of the Palace coach but I don't know if he can handle the step up...Enrique will be available next season, we might want to wait for him or tempt him with a move now.

I am also eyeing Enrique but it appears Arsenal and Chelsea would soon be needing new managers and competition for his signature would be fierce.

Using Availability as a yardstick, i dont mind Gareth Southgate on an interim Basis TBH. They have hyped that man so much and I would like to see what he can offer...lol

Xavi is also an option but i am not so sure. He appears to be the type that would also be obsessed with one idea

Enrique or Nagelsmann. I suspect Enrique will be taking over from Pep sometime in the future.

Southgate? Instead let's bring back Ole or stick with Amorim...

Enrique will need an overhaul. Nagelsmann will be a good choice but I am not sure he can manage our players or the pressure that comes with the job...

The emphasis is on interim

Yeah, i also don't mind any ex UTD player at this point minus Gary Neville ofcourse grin

Giggs used to be hyped by Fergie that year as having great potentials to become a great coach.

I wonder what has happened

The player culture is slowly changing. We have fewer divas and better pros now. He has managed Bayern and Germany so out of the likely candidates i think he is one of those with a relatively similar experience. That Crystal Palace manager would be in for a rude awakening if he moves from there to Old Trafford. Crystal Palace is a small club even inside London.

Yeah, Enrique will need an overhaul at least in central midfield. The options in defense and attack are not so bad. Having said that, we need an overhaul in midfield anyway.

Firstly, those Liverpool and Newcastle youngsters are going into a situation where the system is working, and they are also dealing with far less scrutiny and pressure. Drop them into this our failing situation with all the pressure that comes with it, and things might turn out differently with them.

Secondly, Mainoo and Lewis Miley made the senior teams of their clubs around the same time 2 years ago. Mainoo has 3.3m followers on Instagram alone, Miley has less than 200k followers. Even Amass and Heaven that have barely played games for us have far more followers than Miley.

This is only one instance of the scrutiny that our youth players face compared to other clubs. It is also very crucial to note that we do not have an established working system like those other clubs.

In addition, we have a very well documented recent history of poor results when throwing academy players into chaotic situations hoping they will miraculously solve the problem. A system that is so faulty that quality pros like Mbeumo, Cunha, Amad and co are firing blanks is not the best to throw an unprepared youngster into, in hope, unless he is a potential generational talent like Greenwood, Dowman etc.

Finally, you can't just make blank statements like play the youth players, as if being a youth player automatically endows a player with some innate quality and footballing ability above the senior players. You should specify the youth players that you think are good enough and should be getting minutes now.

We all saw how just pass it to Adnan and just pass it to Garnacho ended.

You are playing wuruwuru football and you want to throw youngsters who are not ready into it so that their Insta followers will balloon to 5m initially and when they start struggling in your wuruwuru system 2m of those followers will start sending them hate messages. grin grin grin

Teams miss chances, it happens. Your ability to generate more or better chances is what matters
No it doesn't happen. You have to be clinical as well. Arsenal didn't create much against us yet they won. Liverpool have conceded 4 goals in their first 2 games yet they have 6 points. None of their fans is analysing the goals conceded and blaming this defender or that goalkeeper like we are doing because they are scoring goals. We need to be scoring goals and our attackers need to be more clinical. You can't keep wasting chances and putting more pressure on the defense. If Cunha and Bruno had buried their chances against Fulham the mood would have been different going into the 2nd half. Hopefully our attackers start delivering.

He's actually right. The more chances you create, the higher the probability of converting them.

You are not creating anything. Only 2 Big chances against Fulham. Zero, against Arsenal.

Being clinical matters. But there's more reality in converting 2 out of 10, than 2 out of 2.

There's no way you watched that Arsenal game and came to the conclusion we did not create enough chances to score at least 2. Our xG was even higher than Arsenal. We had 22shots, 7 on target. Liverpool last night had 5 shots in total and scored 3 goals. That's what it means to be clinical. Expecting a team to create 5 or 6 big chances per game especially away from home is wishful thinking. The most you can expect per game is 2 and thats why you need to be clinical when you get your opportunity.

Na that Bruno be their problem gan gan. Nothing hurts a team like a player that disorganizes press and also loses the ball which his weak body doesn’t help recover leading to opponents holding on to the ball for too long.

Once a player loses their press, the whole team turns their back on incoming runners while trying to track back.
