Ok in his defence after watching that interview, he said the result of the shootout didn't matter to him because United should be beating a 4th division team with ease. He clearly wasn't happy with the performance and kept saying the players made their statement clear, like they intentionally played bad to get him sacked. We will know more about the dressing room situation in the coming days, Amorim could put in a resignation letter this week or wait it out to collect payoff if sacked..

It was 100% Berrada’s choice and he pulled shot gun on Ashworth to get his way, Ashworth pushed for Eddie Howe, Thomas Frank and Southgate as 3rd choice.
Berrada wanted Amorim because there was talk of Amorim maybe taking over at City from Pep due to Viana leaving Sporting Lisbon to become Sporting Director at City.
