dreamxhaser:.....everyone was happy when OGS was sacked. Everyone was happy when ZeroHag was sacked. Same for LvG and tó some extent Mou and RR. If we sack Amorim today, what next?! Hire a new Manager, feel excited as usual, start blaming him again after few matches, then boom - #naniout. Rinse and repeat. |

Oasis007:In Amorim's case there wasn't even any excitement...at least everyone else gave us excitement at the beginning. The failure started from his first game. Utter uselessness #AmorimOUT #SackTheFraud |

engrelvis:.....I am not saying he shouldn't be sackec but fans should learn to be patient. Management should sit him down and tell him clear truth - try another formation or quit the job. Amorim is a top coach. He is gonna excel at another club and he ain't gonna lack suitors. Let's keep calm, season is still new. |

Emotion aside Bruno brought balance and free flow when he came in. We still need him.Another thing starting your league matches with high profile teams is not helping Amorim agenda. |

Oasis007:The problem is the standards of this club has dropped too much... Fans are now okay with mediocrity. Chelsea sacked managers until they eventually got it right..back then people were saying the chelsea players were throwing the managers under the bus, but eventually the started winning trophies. I don't understand this 'give the manager time', 'back the manager' nonsense. If a manager is obviously shite, sack him. Finishing in 15th position with that Man Utd team is enough grounds for sacking and Jail time, but bottling the Europa league final in the manner that he did, to a terrible Tottenham team, is inexcusable. And Garnacho was right to be upset, now coupled with all the damage he has done we will also lose Garnacho because of the Fraud. #AmorimOUT |

Yesterday's game make me remember the humiliation we suffered in the hands of MK Dons in this same League cup. I can never forget that name MK Dons. It's even worse than yesterday's own. |

Facts point to the evidence, that Manchester United by allowing Grimsby Town knock them out of the Carabao Cup have lost the second avenue into Europe next season. There is no way this team with this manager can ever finish in the top 6 of the Premier league. So the only avenue into Europe next season is through the FA cup. Ruben Amorim has successfully lowered the bar and standard at Manchester United that the team was knocked out of the Carabao Cup by a team in Division 4. It was appalling and disgusting watching the manager of Manchester United HIDING under the legs of his assistants while the penalty kicks were being taken. Contrast that with the Grimsby Town manager who stood on his two feet watching and encouraging his own team as the penalty kicks were being taken. It was also appalling to watch Ruben Amorim fiddling with a tactics board while his team were behind 2-0 to a division 4 team. The fact is that Amorim comes across as a very limited coach. He is tactically inept and hides behind his absurd system. He does not stand up for his players ever and every match he throws somebody under the bus. Which player would want to play for such a manager? It is equally STRANGE that non of Amorim’s players at Sporting agreed to follow him to Manchester United which says a lot about him. The fact is that I doubt if United can sack him right now except they sell off some players who are currently on the market. The big danger is that the transfer window closes this weekend. The clear and present danger is the 3 O' clock game on Saturday against Burnley at Old Trafford in the league. Burnley will be licking their lips and will be up for a fight to win the 3 points or at least sneak a draw. These two results are possible with Amorim as manager. The loss to Grimsby is in the past. The present danger is that Saturday afternoon game against Burnley.

nitrogen:The squad that we had right now should've won against that team in any system available to humankind. The Grimsby game transcend systems or tactics. That's a loss that only stems from a deep rooted issue within the club/squad and I don't think it's a coincidence that it involves players like Dalot and Onana whose mediocrity and mistakes have been a burden on this club for multiple seasons. Amorim, for all his faults, was spot on when saying we didn’t have any intensity whatsoever. A 352/433/442 whatever the Bleep formation you want doesn’t even matter at that point. They looked like the premier league team during that first half. We looked completely off it. |
