Let me tell you guys a story

2014 I was doing my IT in Warri delta state, then I stayed at ubeji in Warri, there was this compound I was living, the first day I came into the compound I slept fine, nobody told me there was a dead body next door to me.

The second day same thing. It was the third day someone came to clean the dead body that I knew there was a dead body in a coffin inside the room close to me… Fast forward that night. I couldn’t sleep. Before I slept fine, nothing happened

But immediately I knew that there was a dead body. My perception about the compound change. That night I couldn’t sleep, I started hearing Erie sound, wind waves, I was extremely cold and scared that the dead person could appear to me.

My mind started playing tricks on me. It started scanning for danger and also creating scenarios. I was like what if this dead man appear in my room or knock at my door.. I didn’t sleep that night.

Fast forward to the next day. I told the caretaker I can’t stay

In the compound anymore after finding out there is a dead body next door to me. He said I shouldn’t worry, blah blah blah.. with the passage of time the fear started to wear off. Although the person has already be buried sha. The fear went away naturally.

Now if I’m offered 2000$ I could work in a mortuary because I’ve convinced my self that ghost doesn’t exist. It imprinted in my sub-conscious that I can even sleep next to a corpse without fidgeting or having fear.. this is to tell you that the mind is very powerful

If I didn’t know there was a corpse in that room I would have slept fine without having fear, but the moment I knew my mind started creating fake scenarios. It started hearing things that aren’t real.

If you believe in ghost there is a chance you will experience

Noises, see things that aren’t there because your brain will trick you. But if you don’t, it very logically that you won’t experience it.the brain reacts more to what we believe than what actually is. Once you control the story your mind tells itself, you won’t fear the situation

First of all, what does the work of a mortuary attendant entail?

To answer the question; as long as I don't have to touch any corpse, if I desperately need the money, I might consider the offer.
Even if ghosts are there, they will be afraid of me.
They better not misbehave.

And who says I must fall asleep?
All of them go join me for praise and worship every night.

Back in 2012,I paid my sister a visit.....On getting to her house,her door was opened and I saw her body lying down, already dead.... worst of it was that there was no neighbor around as all of them have gone out...... Just as I was about to run back home to break that sad news to my father and other siblings,rain began to fall.......That was how I sat very close to where my sister's corpse was lying...I covered her with a cloth and was crying.......The rain lasted for over 2 hours and when it eventually stopped,I ran as quick as possible as my feet could take me just to go tell everyone back home about what had happened.....I could remember my other sister telling me how brave I was,cuz I didn't enter the rain after realizing my sister was dead......I told her I wasn't afraid of my sister's corpse,after all we were the closest when she was alive.......That I was even ready to face anything from her ghost if that was the case........That was one case..

During my time of riding Keke,I can remember that I took over 4 corpse to the mortuary at different occasions....It was during the last one that my girl refused and told me enough was enough,that she won't allow me to carry any corpse any more with my Keke 😂

The human mind is indeed a powerful machine... most people still do not realize this.

Well to Me I believe supernatural things exist whether you believe it or not, if you believe in God then you know the Devil exist, if God have his angels then the Devil also have his minions.
Everything in life have 2 sides, up and down. White and black, the physical world and the spiritual world.
It's just that many don't want to believe because it will make them feel this fear of the unknown.

Back when I was in school and I have this roommate that was a very spiritual, she was an assistant pastor in their fellowship and she always say she can see spiritual things like spirit and even demons, one day she said she saw some spirits outside our school library at mid night after night class and since then whenever I am passing that place even in the daytime I always feel a sense of fear, my point is the body always protect itself so if some other person hear that story he or she will rather gaslight himself into believing that spirits doesn't exist so he won't feel fear when passing that place.
That is the reason a lot of people rather believe supernatural don't exist because they can't live in a world where they know things go bump in the night

Ghost exist, you don't need to believe they do. And whether you believe they do or not does not change the fact that they exist

The twist about this Story is that fear is nothing but the ghost of the mind. The ghost you are afraid of is you creating the fear with your own subconscious mind. Nice logic.

I can tell you for a certain that Spirits/Ghost/Forces or Essence do exist but how strong their power is, is determined by how strong, and how much grounds you are willing to yield to them!

Like you rightly put it - a clean, clear aura/vibration - when two pole of a magnet interact, one can not influence, dominate or task the other if -
*It has no attractive field (like pole)
*It Shows no interest (non-magnetic)

Ghost practically operates the same way: they can eff-up a weaker/obsessed mind pretty bad!

Well, I came to hear you prove they're real, only to see the opposite- which I already know.

It's only Christianity and African traditional practices that believes that the dead and ghosts can manifest in the physical realm.

How do you explain those who feel sudden unease, an urge to check on a family member, and then discover something serious has happened death, accident, illness?

Have you ever seen true possession? Not the staged or exaggerated kind? No, possession is not always running mad or falling ill. Possession might even be good or neutral fyi.


Even in something as shallow as reality TV, there are cases where people visit fortune tellers who predict events. Some are false which is no surprise to me as a Muslim but others are accurate. How would you explain those?

What research have you actually done to test whether such things exist?

And if your judgement rests only on myths, many of which are exaggerated or outright false, that doesn’t mean the reality itself doesn’t exist.


Across the world, every culture regardless of language, colour, religion, or place shares a belief in the unseen. How do you explain that? Is it really reasonable to assume all our ancestors, across every civilisation, were completely wrong?

I think It's more of the other way around, @bolded.

Well, except for the ones that departed untimely/suddenly (unfinished business).
They (their energy) linger around for a while, then fade with time to the other side.

You know, sometimes I wonder; what if we share the same space? We on our realm, and they on theirs.
I think the dreamland is the middle ground where the living and the dead meet.
