I really don't get the overreaction. Bayern were in similar position to us last night drawing 2:2 to a division 3 team with Kane, Olise etc until a late minute goal and none of their fans are calling for kompany to be sacked. They were even leading 2 nil at first. This same Bayern were knocked out by a division 2 team last season. It sucks we lost but it happened in an inconsequential tournament with teenagers in our backline.

For starters, If Bayern finished 4th last season, he most likely would be jobless as we speak. You can imagine his fate if they finished 10th, let alone 15th position under his watch. He would have been assassinated.

Yeah he mentioned that the players already said a lot to each other after the match. I can imagine the kind of tension and bad blood in that dressing room. We're definitely not winning the next match. He should have been asked to resign

I suspect that the club management were not prepared to make changes...atleast not this early in the season...hence the perceived delay.

From a financial perspective, it could also be that they are waiting for him to resign, since he appears to be considering that option already.

If Amorim is to be sacked, his whole coaching crew would most likely be dismissed too.

I think it was a bit easier last season with Ruud, a professional coach serving as one of ETH's assistants.
