Sincerely, in as much as I want results and not satisfied with what Amorim is serving, I don't want him to be sacked.

We've been there and done that. Over and over again.

Sack and hire like Chelsea and Madrid. Are you doing it like them? Are you getting the results they are getting? Our own version just leaves us going down and down. No improvements.

Make Amorim just dey abeg. The players will get used to him and his style abeg 🤣🤣🤣

I'm tired.
grin

.......Chelsea can sign 30 players just in a window. Madrid has the pull for top players....... we can barely sign 3 players in a window, also we have lost the pull to sign top players, yet our fans want us hiring and firing like the 2 clubs. LOL!

Well! The board have said they won’t sack Amorim.

I'm glad the board are backing him, maybe that will be a big Bleep you to the underperforming players to pull their fingers out and be better!

This should send a clear message to many players that the manager is going no where so they have to up their game and be able to play his style and whatever he demands or be sent to the bench.

How can we spend so much money on players and you come out and tell me that they can’t play to the managers demand/style. Are they mad? Even if you can’t play in a position effectively, try to put in the work and show effort instead of slacking around.

Same players put efforts during big games (when they are underdogs without pressure) and they play well in the respective positions you claim they are not good at.

Trashford that don’t use to press here went to Barca and starts putting in the work. So if the manager there plays him in a position he isn’t very comfortable with, he will starting walking on the pitch like he did here?
.....Jah bless your brain.

You think he's not a good man manager? I don't think there's any evidence of that. The level of indiscipline in the squad required the level of ruthlessness we saw from him.

You see, one thing I've learnt to do after seeing all the mess in the club over the years is to judge certain characteristics based on what I saw before they signed. I think Amorim is a really good man manager and has probably even relied on that more that anything else all through his coaching career. I think that's the reason he's shocked as to how things are unfolding. Players are not responding the way they should.

Do you look at Amorim and think he's not doing a good job, motivating these lots? Lmao. Let's be serious here. But they all go to the pitch and do whatever they want.

There's something seriously wrong with the club. The culture that makes some of our players e.g Mainoo, Amad, become shadow of themselves when they realize 'you have to fight for your place for now', 'you have to play at a different position '. They drop tools after little adversity. Same with the fools we just shipped out.

I could go on and on but what's the point. Sacking the manager will always be the 'exciting' thing to do.
•For manager joining newly at a big club, public condemnation of your players in big 2025 would most likely cause more harm than good. It is even worse when the manager has ZERO EXPERIENCE managing big egos, superstars and Global household names. The "Hey guys, a new sherrif is in town. Y'all better shape up or ship out" approach would work better at places like Sporting where the players are relatively unknown, and the club under less scrutiny.

•There was absolutely no reason for his disparaging comments about Rashford in the public domain. It was so bad that he kept on talking about the fella even when that one had joined Villa. He literally made the whole thing look personal with his constant tirades and comments.
Guess who couldn't resist the urge to talk about Antony's performances at Betis?

•One would have thought that he was in a transitional phase at that time, only for him to open his big mouth and chat shít about Maino just last week. Did he need to insinuate that he is unfit for the system? Was the remark about him competing with Bruno for a slot necessary? I keep on wondering what has happened to the Normal "XYZ is a good player - there are enough games to go round for everyone" Mantra.

•Labelling your team as the worst in the history of the club, talking about endless suffering and threatening the players with clear outs would almost always complicate things at a big club. It is worse when the manager in question is new and has NO pre existing PEDIGREE or REPUTATION per say.

•All i see is a man trying to instill FEAR in his players. An Emotionally intelligent manager would be more concerned with RESPECT, especially under the aforementioned circumstances.

Thankfully, the man is aware that he can't change 22 players!

It's just funny. Let's be real abeg. With the way things are, any coach will come here and struggle. Chelsea didn't even need to sign Garnacho. But they signed him. Them dey sign for fun. Sign and send on loan. I think they also wanted to sign Ensicio from Brighton and send on loan. Laying foundation for a coach to come and work.

We neither lay foundation or support coaches with adequate results but we the fans will come and blame coaches. We just need to wake up. If Amorim is sacked we will still find ourselves in this same situation. The new coach might go back to 4-3-3 but will still find ourselves struggling to enter top 6.

With the way the board is moving, it's better to just stick to one coach that can do his rubbish till it works.

If they want to hire and fire, let them do it like others are doing it.

.....imagine a Fan saying he is kinda feeling EXCITED that OGS is available to take over from Amorim. Same OGS that's sacked by BESIKTAS ó.

I think its just fun for some fans to seeing the club firing and hiring instead of hiring and fixing.

......you indeed want progress for the club. Your feeling ain't a mistake or accidental, simply shows you want the club to play good football and winning trophies like OGS did in his first stint at the club.
That's what I am saying nau

•OGS that we rebuked and rejected, is now looking like a PEP option (on interim basis) compared to the current manager we have - the one whose records firmly place him as one of the worst coaches in the history of the Premier league.

•Ten hag that we criticised, actually saved us from relegation last season. If Amorim had joined like a month earlier, we would probably be travelling to Preston North End after the international break, instead of playing Mancity.

•With what we even saw vs 4th tier Grimbsy town... a club with a total value less than the 5m we paid for Leon the benchwarmer, there's a 95% possibility that Amorim would battle relegation in the Coca-Cola championship.

These are the cold hard facts - i didnt make them up!

God abeg

It took Sir Alex Ferguson 5 years to get things right.

It took Klopp 5 years to get things right.

It took Arteta 5 years before he started competing for the league.

It took Pep 2 years & that’s because he had an unlimited budget.

Ruben Amorim deserves more time.

This would make sense, if the present one is experimenting different set ups and styles until he finds one that works. Keeping an obvious bad coach will send man united to the relegation zone. This guy has been here since last year, we forget that. When a team is losing, you try and find solutions by changing the team, system until you find what works. But this guy does the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

Sir Alex finished 2nd in his second season. After man united were struggling 14th. Club didn't just give him more time. He earned it. We cannot blindly follow a coach hoping he gets it right. When a team keeps losing there will always be problems in the dressing room. Nobody likes losing. If you play football on the streets self this is normal, the losing team fights within themselves.

Honestly you dey try, I don comot mind and soul. Sticking with this man is partway to hell. He's not necessarily a bad manager but he's not the right man for this club at this time.

It's only a foolish person will keep trying the same thing that is not working, that has not worked since he came here and keep expecting different results. The fans supporting him to stay will make excuses when we get relegated. Na here we dey.

Ole that we rightly chastised and condemmed is looking like a god to Amorim. Heck, OGS even apologised to the club after finishing 2nd in the league.

OGS being better than Amorim atm stresses how horrible our current manager is at his job!
