A 70 lap race?. Didn't piastri close the gap? What If lando's tyres exploded at any point of the second stint, would you have still called it robbery?

You also realise lando's race was almost toast after piastri shunted him from 3rd by allowing George Russel and Alonso pass lando(his own teammate) instead of concentrating on passing leclerc at the race start.

You say shunted, whereas, in motorsport I think its called overtaking. And its not a "deserve" thing.

My feeling is a personal bias and not based on any facts nor evidence. I'll be gutted if Lando beats Piastri to become World Champion because I feel the team favour Lando, based on last year, which put me off him.

If you miss how illogical my opinion is, compare it to my love of Verstappen who is most favoured by his team.

You could say that one was taken away from him.

Hopefully with new regulations coming in soon, we might see the best of him in a better car. I mean, Lerclec is not exactly topping the table even though he's been in the team for longer.

We can probably write this one off as a first-season/new team syndrome.

At one time he gained on piastri enough to be within DRS range after the safety car restart. But he still lost it.

I don't even know how these English celebs date ppl from polar opposite worlds where they speak little or no English.

Hamilton given five-place grid drop for Italian GP

Hamilton was the driver to find himself officially under investigation, in regards to potentially failing to slow under yellow flags during the laps to the grid. It was investigated after the race, and the result was a five-place grid penalty for Monza.

“The penalty guidelines for such an infringement would ordinarily attract a penalty of 10 grid positions at the next race. However, given that the driver had made an attempt to reduce his speed and to brake earlier, we took that into account as mitigating circumstances and imposed a 5 grid place penalty.”

In addition to the grid penalty, Hamilton also had two penalty points added to his Super Licence, ruining his clean record for the 12-month period.

Time will reveal all. Some of us said it here way back then that without elite machinery Hamilton has never competed. Go and check his record after the first two McLaren years till he got that Mercedes rocket 🚀 and since he no longer had it and you will see that he had no business being ranked over Schumacher.
