Mods please don’t ban me o, this is just a mind-bending question I’ve been thinking about. Imagine this: A young man has an affair with his own mother (yes, I know it sounds crazy, but it happens in some twisted families). She gets pregnant from it. Now, instead of exposing what happened, the woman presents the child to her husband (the boy’s father) as his own child. Basically, the father starts raising his own grandchild as his child. Here’s where my confusion comes in 👇 If later a DNA test is done, will the result show clearly that the father (the husband) is NOT the biological father? Or will the DNA confuse things since both father and son share similar genes? Because if you think about it, the child technically carries blood from both father and son in a roundabout way. I’m not defending anything here o 😅. I just want to hear people’s thoughts because science, culture, and morality can clash in cases like this

Simply asked ChatGPT. Here's the answer. Summary: ✅ The DNA test would show that the husband is NOT the biological father. 🔬 It would also indicate he is a close relative, likely grandfather. ❌ It would not be fooled by the genetic similarity between father and son. Report Conclusion: Result: Alleged father is EXCLUDED as the biological father. The probability of paternity is 0%. However, genetic similarities suggest that the alleged father may be a biological relative of the true father — such as a father, brother, or son. -------------- DiarisGodooo!!! @OP a disgusting scenario, but to make it easier for you the only situation DNA cannot tell the difference is identical twins...na only them wey DNA no be baba of ( and also people wey carry Chimeria for within them). |

Let's break down the DNA aspect of this complex scenario. In this situation, the child would be the result of a union between the son and his mother, making the child's biological parents the son and his mother. The husband (the son's father) would be the child's grandfather. DNA testing would likely reveal that the husband is not the biological father of the child. Here's why: 1. *DNA inheritance*: The child would inherit DNA from their biological parents (the son and his mother). While the son would pass on DNA inherited from his father (the husband), the combination of genetic material would not match the husband's DNA profile in a way that would suggest direct parentage. 2. *Genetic relationships*: DNA tests typically examine specific genetic markers, such as STRs (Short Tandem Repeats) or SNPs (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms). These markers would be used to determine the likelihood of a biological relationship between the husband and the child. Given the generational gap and the mixing of genetic material, the results would likely indicate that the husband is not the biological father. DNA testing can be complex, and results might show a close relationship between the husband and the child (due to their familial connection), but it would not typically indicate direct parentage. This scenario highlights the complexities of genetic relationships and the potential for unusual family dynamics. |

We know you are the son and it's very evil for you to sleep with your mother, in my place the son also will get pregnant just as the mum but will give birth to death nothing can save him. |

Sparrk007: ![]() Lol, you dey whine me? I’ve actually been an orphan since childhood. I lost my dad at 13 and my mum at 16. Right now, I’m 26 years old. I can’t even be in such a scenario; I just imagined if such situations could exist and what the way forward would be. |

Kingdavid579:genetic recommendation/shuffling will never allow the Man's 23 chromosome which appear in his son, also appear exactly the same way in the new child(grandson ... The DNA test of the new baby will show clearly his father and grandfather's DNA....the probability of paternity will be less 10% Sometimes DNA testing is not even needed to expose Paternity fraud....the first time I saw paternity fraud ...it was ordinary genotype that exposed the woman.... the child was brought to hospital for frequent illness.....hospital ran genotype just to rule out sickle cell.....and the child came back as SS yet father and mother are AA and AS respectively |
