Because your mothers are not to be seen as humans deserving of the same freedoms that women today have and boast of, abi? Because your mothers deserved the suffering and diminishing of their worth as humans for the sake of marriage, right?

Funny thing is that the women you love to hate today were raised by those grandmothers and mothers whom you thought should not be seen or heard. Yes, those same mothers and grandmothers raised their daughters to demand that their voices be heard and they be seen. Those women of old dreamed of this freedom, which they then instilled in their daughters to strive for. Now, when you rail against the women of today, you are actually railing against your mothers and grandmothers who raised them to be this way.

The same way you did not take the pains of your mothers and grandmother's seriously is the same way you think these current women should not be taken seriously, and that is OK because they no longer seek validation or their worth from you lot.

everything you stated is caused by men's lack of awareness. They are becoming more aware now and are learning the game better . The hookup you mentioned still comes down to women being dependent on men for survival.why can't they go work in the industry and make money like men do?How long are you gonna keep selling your body to men? Be deceiving yourself that women are delaying marriage.you are definitely day-dreaming. Men are losing interest in marriage that's why women are no longer getting married like before. Men are the gate keepers of commitment while women are gatekeepers of sex. I have turned down couple of gals that want me to marry them cos I'm not interested in marriage.

There's nothing to argue as he didn't present data to back up his opinion. He shared experiences of few persons to invalidate the institution of marriage in a country of over how many million people that are married. I don't argue blindly.

I'm not only respected because I'm married but for the value I add. I'm referred to as "Madam" because of the team I lead and not Mrs. I prefer to be called by my name as that's my primary identity and not 'Mrs'.
