Nigeria do not have a strong national team. Nigerians are deceived by the hype around their Europe born players who are usually only average or below average

Nigeria has no creative midfielders. They have an average winger — Simon who has a rather poor end product. The stats also prove that Nigeria has a very weak attack force and have no world-class strikers— forget the hype around the drama-king, osimhen.

South Africa will be too strong for this Nigerian team come Tuesday, Mark my words. Even if Nigeria strangely manages to pick all three points because of the uncertainty of football results sometimes, South Africa still will lead the table with superior points and goals.

Nigeria must disband this current set up and start rebuilding for 2030.

Matchday!

I'd love us to use this formation and players against South Africa. South Africa won't sit back like Rwanda, so we need our two dribblers on both flanks, Chukwueze against South Africa is always like Chukwueze against Madrid. Ademola Lookman will get to beat any left-back there and get space to either shoot or pass to Tolu who'd be lurking in the box.

Ndidi alone seff can man the back, he's shown it, but combination of him and Uche will be good because Uche can hold, guide and progress with the ball, so sometimes he'll be with Iwobinho in attack, sometimes with Ndidi in defence, it'll be like 4-1-2-3 when attacking and back to 4-2-3-1 when defending...

Subs:
- Dessers and Tolu somewhere in the game, maybe if we haven't scored in the first half, turn it to 4-4-2

- Onyedika for Uche around the 60-ish minutes
- Moses Simon for Chukwueze in the 70-ish minutes if Chukwueze has failed to impact the game in any way then push Lookman to the RW.
- Any other subs na to just see the game off.

My scoreline prediction: 🇿🇦 South Africa [0]–[2] Nigeria 🇳🇬

I wonder why some people are worrying themselves when we are yet to win all our matches.

The 3 points will definitely be deducted as long as they fielded ineligible player.

SA will do everything to win. It's a do-or-die affair for them. Expect more hostilities from them; they may even lock the team inside the hotel to ensure they are late for the game, but this shows they still have this palpable fear of the Eagles. Whether our boys can take advantage of this remains to be seen.
South Africa dont need to win a draw is enough for them there in control of the match from 0minute

In as much as I like Frederick's calm defensive presence, I still have the feeling that this game can be a tight game where Ekong bullet header from a corner kick can just give us a 1-0 victory.
The coach has the final decision anyway.

Not sure Uche should be playing so deep
We need to press the south Africans, and with Osimhen out, Uche is the next pressing machine up top
I would take out chukwueze, drop iwobi to partner Ndidi and move Uche forward

Not bad too... That's why I said Uche will join Iwobi up top when we are on the attack sha, then drop back to Ndidi when we are defending. The guy get energy 😂

Once the team fails no player can be excluded and that’s where we are always hypocritical I didn’t even single out iwobi I only asked why can’t we see more but I have noticed here that other players including osihmen, Simon, Ademola etc can be singled out but not Iwobi. Our midfield is still crap and who are the players in there? Nwabali?
You can only keep lying to yourself instead to accept you were wrong, you keep dropping more fallacy. Iwobi who I'll say is one of the most criticize present SE player is who you claim people are not allowed to criticise him

Energy yapa!!
Apart from his ball carrying ability, he can also give good passes and create chances

Later in the game, I can take out Lookman, depending on how the game goes, replace him with chuks, move iwobi to the left wing
Drop Uche to pair Ndidi and give chuks a free role in midfield..

Like I said, it depends on how the first 50-60 mins play out..

Our defence was suspect in our last game against SA
Well, our defence has grown since then..
They won't get those chances they got the last time out..
I don't see them scoring except from set pieces and maybe outside shots
Ndidi is reborn in that middle
We will crush them today..

Exactly. A team that is sooooo confident in their abilities, like they've been parroting on Twitter won't need to go through all this hassle to ensure a win. I just want to see a good game today. Whether we make it through or not, it's the universe that wills it.

We will get a good game, sure
And because of SA's swashbuckling style of play, we will surely get opportunities to score
This is why I'm happy Tolu will be leading the attack and not Dessers..
We need our players who can score up front
That's why I'd like to see Lookman, Tolu, Uche playing as forwards..
