We will get a good game, sure
And because of SA's swashbuckling style of play, we will surely get opportunities to score
This is why I'm happy Tolu will be leading the attack and not Dessers..
We need our players who can score up front
That's why I'd like to see Lookman, Tolu, Uche playing as forwards..
Tolu uche upfront

Lookman Chukwueze wingers

This is a simple maths.

Lookman is a WF, not a winger
Playing him as a winger will limit his influence in games

What if lookman fail to impact in the game undecided
Comot am put Simon. Shikena.

But he'll impact against South Africa today, goal or assist.

Game day! cool

I don't know how the guys will do it but I take God beg them make dey sha manufacture win make we collect 3 points. Even if na 1/2 - 0 I go take am like that.

I think Chukwueze should start he usually does well against the Southies.

LET'S GO SUPER EAGLES!

Very bold and attacking lineup!

Ekong, Awaziem, Simon to come in and lock up shop when we're hopefully comfortably ahead.

BankyGee:
Matchday!

I'd love us to use this formation and players against South Africa. South Africa won't sit back like Rwanda, so we need our two dribblers on both flanks, Chukwueze against South Africa is always like Chukwueze against Madrid. Ademola Lookman will get to beat any left-back there and get space to either shoot or pass to Tolu who'd be lurking in the box.

Ndidi alone seff can man the back, he's shown it, but combination of him and Uche will be good because Uche can hold, guide and progress with the ball, so sometimes he'll be with Iwobinho in attack, sometimes with Ndidi in defence, it'll be like 4-1-2-3 when attacking and back to 4-2-3-1 when defending...

Subs:
- Dessers and Tolu somewhere in the game, maybe if we haven't scored in the first half, turn it to 4-4-2

- Onyedika for Uche around the 60-ish minutes
- Moses Simon for Chukwueze in the 70-ish minutes if Chukwueze has failed to impact the game in any way then push Lookman to the RW.
- Any other subs na to just see the game off.

My scoreline prediction: 🇿🇦 South Africa [0]–[2] Nigeria 🇳🇬

We should not allow South Africa dominate in ball possession, else we are done with.
We should fight and win every ball.

They are not defensively as strong as Rwanda, not at all, and will try to have an edge through keeping possession of the ball and mounting pressure on our defense. If we are starved of the ball how do we intend to score.

We have the players that can break up plays, we have players that serve long balls, we have dribblers.

If it is up to me, i will utilise Christantus Uche as the CF, especially for this kind of encounter. Iwobi on the right, Lookman on the left, Chukwueze behind Uche.

All im saying is that u cant totally rule out a possible win for super eagles.
Thry are not at their best yes but u cant rule out a win.
If not team quality They have individual quality to pull it off.

Somebody should pls tell Simon not to try those Okocha's leg over today,90 times out of 100 it can never lead to a goal,he should calm down and shoot with his right foot, the Lookman's way,but the leg over forces him always to shoot with his Weaker foot reducing his chances of accuracy.

The Okocha's leg over unbalances both the opposing player and the player who does it,it's only good to take out a player but far away from 18 yard box where u would have the time to position the ball well after it has been executed.

Must one show skills before you can shoot inside 18 yard box?

I'm watching all our recent games under Chelle and the biggest flaw I can notice is poor finishing. Our attack is actually very potent in terms of build-up but 9 times of 10, we flop it all once we get to the final third, even with Osimhen present. I can't understand why it's so difficult for us. Other teams appear more clinical and dangerous once they get within the 18 yard box. But for us, it's almost guaranteed that we will miss. That's very poor and it's the biggest aspect of our game that we need to work on seriously.

There's only so many chances you can create without results before you become predictable and the opponent finds a way to just lock shop on you.

You sabi. We've created more chances in these 3 games played under Chelle than in the first 4.

If no be these football apps wey no rate Africa, I been don mean to compile the data and compare, but none of them dey even treat this match like official matches, no player ratings, no players' stats, just lineups and inshallah.

Because they will they will have 8 and 9 points gap ahead of Benin and Nigeria respectively, even if the 3 points is deducted it won't still touch them.

We should focus on winning the match today and the next match, when it's clear that we can qualify after the deduction of the 3 points, the fans can start their protests or whatever it's necessary.

Mali [2]–[0] South Africa: AFCON

We can even score more if we chase every ball as Éric Chelle always says. South Africa love playing from the back. If we mount them pressure, we'll beat them with a cleansheet seff, Ronwen Williams don even drop form small too. So everything's there for our taking.

But they chose that stadium for us on purpose, we no dey shake sha.

[Yakup Çinar] Victor Osimhen arrived in Istanbul late at night on a private jet. An MRI appointment has been scheduled for him today at Galatasaray’s sponsor hospital. The star footballer’s condition will become clear after the MRI.
