We can't blame the factory management completely. Nigerians in general are very stubborn when it comes to rules. You will see factory workers without safety gears. From PHCN staffs to your everyday okada man. Even vehicle users don't use seatbelts or have fire extinguishers etc until they see road safety officials then they pretend to. It's a culture thing in these parts. Carelessness and stubbornness to simple rules.

Exactly. It's the problem with majority of Nigerians. That phone call in hand while driving is the most annoying and evil.

I have worked in a factory before, except the manager does not want to languish in prison for negligence he or she most set guide lines.

Like in catering women with long hair most wear a shower cap to protect the consumer and them self because long hair can get tangled on a blender or catch fire over stove.

Most people that operate milling machine whether for rice or dough wear a T-shirt or singlet.
