They don't even bother inspecting lists anymore. All they do, once Tinubu announce new appointees, is to automatically shout "Yorubanization".

Their actions betrays their not so subtle agenda of maligning Yorubas and demonising their image.

Might is right bah?

I don't want to see tears or hear about your indignation, when the boot is on someone else's foot. cool
DrStan111:
He should appoint all his people no problem.
The Igbos normally see themselves coming from a disadvantaged position, so I doubt Igbos are surprised or worried about any sort of his lopsided appointment. It's well expected.

National NewsBREAKING: Tinubu names Olumode Adeyemi as new Controller-General of Federal Fire ServicePublished 4 minutes ago on July 30, 2025By Adeyemi Adenuga
Olumode Adeyemi
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Deputy Controller-General (DCG) Olumode Samuel Adeyemi as the new Controller-General of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), effective from August 14, 2025.

The appointment was conveyed in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the Secretary to the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General AM Jibril (Rtd.).

Adeyemi’s appointment comes as the current Controller-General, Engr. Abdulganiyu Jaji Olola, prepares to retire on August 14, 2025, after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 60.

With a long and distinguished career, Adeyemi brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He began his service with the FCT Fire Service before transferring to the Federal Fire Service, where he rose through the ranks to become Deputy Controller-General in charge of the Human Resource Directorate at the Service Headquarters.

Throughout his career, he has successfully completed all required in-service training, command courses, and other professional development programmes both within and outside Nigeria.

Adeyemi is a member and fellow of several professional bodies, including the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria, Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Treasury Management of Nigeria.

The wailing is TOO MUCH

franchasng:
Only a born, unrepentant liar would disagree this fact staring at us all in the face.

Nigeria have never had it this bad.

2015 till date remains the darkest years in the history of Nigeria. Ever since APC came to power, it has been sadness upon sadness for Nigeria.

Worst of it all, Tinubu has divided Nigerians so much that if we don't take caution now, worst version of Rwandan genocide might happen in Nigeria all because of Tinubu's divisive leadership style.

No other Nigerian sitting President used state money and resources to be sponsoring ethnic attack and bigotry like Bola Tinubu.

Imagine Bola Tinubu a sitting President has been funding Reno Omockery, Bayo Onanuga and co to be attacking Igbo people as a whole on daily basis just because Peter Obi contested for President in 2023, his citizen's right oh? And these people think all will be well with them and whatever they represent? Time will tell.

Let every Nigerian, especially Yorubas also note this that since Nigeria got independence in 1960, it is only under Bola Tinubu that no Igbo man or woman is occupying a single position among the top 6 political positions in Nigeria, namely:

President
Vice President
Senate President
Speaker of House of Reps
Chief Justice of Nigeria
Secretary to Federal Government
Why must an Ibo man hold any of these positions
Which Yoruba man held them under Jonathan?

Every day a new lamentations

hotseat:
If truth be told, Tinubu is not helping matters as far as appointments are concerned.

He must rise above his ethnocentric mindset of seeing other Nigerians as being unworthy for political appointments.

This is a minus and not a plus for him.

The Yorubas are enjoying this we-versus-them scenario without pointing out this obvious abberation to their kinsman.

Nigeria is our collective patrimony and not an inheritance of the Yorubas alone.

This is one tribal appointment too many!

Like Buhari, like Tinubu!

Shame on Tinubu!

Shame on Yoruba bigotry!

Infoguy666:
https://news360ng.com/tinubu-reconstitutes-pencom-board-appoints-opeyemi-agbaje-as-chairman/
President Bola Tinubu has appointed Opeyemi Agbaje, a former executive director at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), as the new chairman of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), News360 Nigeria reports.

The appointment comes shortly after the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) issued a seven-day ultimatum demanding the reconstitution of PenCom’s governing board, warning of a possible nationwide strike if the government failed to act.

Agbaje, who brings over 40 years of experience in law, banking, finance, academia, and business consulting, is widely regarded as a thought leader in business, economy, and policy. He graduated with honours in Law from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1985 and was called to the Nigerian Bar the following year. He later obtained a master’s degree in Law from the University of Lagos in 1989 and an MBA from IESE Business School in Spain in 1997. He is currently completing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Eaton Business School.
