My elder brother was trapped in the North due to boko haram activities on the day he was supposed to do ime ego. I was the one his wife gave the drink and I made sure she stayed knelted down for a long time because I took my time to drink the palmwine. There is no part of our culture that says we should kneel down to propose to a woman. The s.i.m.p should have kept the sim.ping to himself and not involve his innocent brother.

Boss, trust is very valuable trait to have before venturing into marriage.

It is better you trust her, and she disappoint you, than you don't trust her and went into marriage with insecurities and lack of peace of mind (because you are always wondering what she is up to or if sleeping around etc )

This seems senseless to me. If he can’t make himself available for something as important as a proposal, he could send a ring or send her money for it.

Heck, proposal isn’t by force. Tell her parents you want to marry her and pick a date. Proposal, introduction and wedding can happen simultaneously when you see her.
