Congrats to those who have received their visa, Pls how much do someone need to deposit as proof of funds, does it include the maintenance fee of 10k pounds and balance of tuition fee maybe remaining 10k meaning that the person need to present about 45 million naira as POF. Plus health surcharge and visa fee.

Pls can someone clarify. Can those who have their successful visa application pls drop a breakdown of proof of fund and total cost.

Yep. I collected my passport today and i have linked my passport. It didn't take me 15 minutes before i got a mail that the linking has been approved

Anyone who have linked up his/her evisa should please suggest phone that can work for scanning the chip on Nigerian passport. I have used iPhone 13 pro but still didn't work. Any phone recommendations pls. Or if there is any guide, I will appreciate.

So, for those who want to link their passport. Don't bother to use the ukvi app. Didn't even use it as i was unable to even download the app on my phone.

To link your passport, when you sign in to your ukvi account and you want to link, After asking you if you have iPhone 7 and Android 7 upward, it will ask if your phone has "NFC", just click No. It will tell you to use the alternative method. It will display the instructions, scroll to the end of the instructions and click continue, just snap your passport and make sure your passport datapage picture is clear and all your details are showing. Once you do that and it tells you it met the requirements, it will tell you to scan your face, just make sure you're in a well lit place, when scanning, it will display different colors, don't be scared. It's part of the process. Then it will tell you to upload a picture of your self. Once all these are done, it will tell you to move to the next part.

From the time i submitted my linking application, it didn't take me 15 minutes before i got a mail that it has been linked. So, yall shouldn't waste your time using the app.

If you have the 'Link your e-visa' page when you sign in, from my own experience, it has been approved. Go ahead with your linking. Or you can wait if you're not sure.

Have only funding for tuition waiver and monthly stipend about £1700, I pay for my visa, flight and accommodation. Na to borrow money since after 1 month one will be ok.

Yes. I got the first email that says they are working on my evisa and then the second that says evisa ready to view or something like that.

No, still the same. And no decision email yet. Biometrics was August 7th. I'm thinking of withdrawing my application and requesting tuition refund from my school. School already started Sep 15th. I'm tired of the back and forth and the suspense.
Does anyone know how I can go about withdrawing and requesting refunds? Because the school said refunds can be issued if visa is refused. I don't know if I can get a refund if I withdraw. Any advise please?

Does it mean my visa has been approved?

Hello everyone. I asking for a first hand experience of anyone that has recently used Turkish airline Lagos to London via Istanbul? Does it require transit visa? The layover is just about 2hrs..I'm confused because I have been seeing conflicting information about it. Even called their help desk in Nigeria and she said transit visa is required while another page says otherwise. Thanks.
