I see no issue with this. She asked for a salary increase. She gave her reasons. Perhaps ,she invested in herself and got more qualifications that would be valuable to the company. I totally agree. 650k is barely 500 dollars. If I am the executive assistant to Bill Gates, I would expect to be paid higher than this. Being fresh out of school means nothing as she could be more enterprising and tech savvy than her older colleagues. I, for one, am impressed she asked for more money. Either respond with a yes or no.

Now that they have laid her off, I wonder what they have achieved.
