Okamgba6:The list is non-exhaustive. Things like a signed sponsorship letter from your friend, evidences to show how long you've been friends with pictures, bank transactions, email conversations etc. Your friend must prove that sponsoring you won't incapacitate them in any way. Bank statements, letter of employment, payslips, explanation of every lump sum. Check the Irish website for other requirements for sponsors but surplus information and proof is always better than basic information. Swear affidavit if needed. Anything that may be questioned or flagged, explain it. Check online for the reason people get refusals and mitigate against such. |

Hello guys, my visa was approved this week but my school gave me until sept 4 as last resumption date. What can I do please? |

Anonymous0594:My school deferred my admission to January because of late resumption and I actually got to dublin the resumption date. So now I have got 3 months all to myself to do all necessary registration and maybe start working |

Depends on how strict your school is. You could send an email to your Program Chair, explaining the situation and convincing them that you can catch up with whatever you may have missed as you have been preparing ahead. You can also contact your country advisor/regional advisor to explain the situation and ask of your best options. Anonymous0594: |

IjayaDubai:Trying to help is not the problem but I hope u won't start charging me first before you actually find a solution like the case of @REJOICE962 on this channel. He asked Me to pay 65k to an unknown party without even providing solution to my problems first or steps on what he plan to do to help. |

Anonymous0594:Nobody here will help you, any one that says they will are scammers. They re not the school management. The best you can do is the message your school about the situation on ground and ask for possible solution. That was how one ran to my DM, on Watsappp after I posted if some who applied on a certain day has gotten decision. He said he know someone that will help to speed up my decision in a week and that it’s 95k. I just laughed in my mind (😂as per visa officer). Don’t ever pay anyone. They are scammers!!!! |

Ah! But why? Why are people like this? We're here all trying to navigate our situation and share info in a community of same purpose. Why would some people want to rip off their fellow country person? 😢 So sad. |
| Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by olagabriel26: 5:48pm On Sep 20, 2025 |
ooouuuiii:Not everyone is here for the same purpose. Some are here for the purpose of scamming others. |
| Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by olagabriel26: 8:58pm On Sep 20, 2025 |
Rejoice962:Why will some one enter my dm without prior information here if his intentions were clean. He went all the way to get my WhatsApp no and chatted me directly on WhatsApp. That’s proof that he is a scam. Except you are part of them. Because someone also quoted you of charging money for what you can’t do. Are you the school management? If you are actually a scammer you better give your life to JESUS before it’s too late. |

olagabriel26:You are still asking if he is part of them. Someone that sent me unsolicited email just two days ago to tell me he can speed up the embassy response for me. He even told me his own was sped up by someone and he wants to introduce the person (As per Irish ambassador to Nigeria) to me. I just read the message and nod, because he is a baby in their scamming business, and at the same time I don’t have his time. |

Yo! I'm losing my mind right now 😂😂. I just saw someone’s IRl number that looked almost exactly like my own. You won’t believe how loud I screamed, thinking it was my number😆The only difference was one digit. I honestly thought I was seeing my own number, and the person's visa decision was approved. You can't imagine how loud my scream was just a few minutes ago I woke up everyone, even my neighbor’s dog 😂😂 I'm claiming that person's visa decision approval as a sign that mine will come through just like that! Amen!!!! |
