First did you not see that God called them out of the paganism around them?

Secondly, Enoch and Noah and job had only one wife and you see God directly praised them. Abraham had one wife (keturah does not count because it was not his fault. Same thing for Jacob) and when he made the mistake of doing like pagans and had concubines God never Spoke to him again till the point that he noticed and he sent all of them away.

Isaac had only one wife.

David was only acceptable by God in his early years when he had one wife.

I speak several languages including french and German. Last I checked, the English colonised Nigeria and not any of the aforementioned.
