While providing a breakdown of performance by states, he noted that Kano came top with 68,159, representing 5.020 per cent of candidates scoring five credits and above, including English and mathematics.

Lagos came second in performance with 67,007 or 4.930 per cent of candidates, scoring five credits and above, including English and mathematics, while Oyo came third with 48,742 candidates scoring five credits and above, including English and mathematics.

The least performing centre was Gabon, with no candidate scoring five credits and above, including English and mathematics.

The Examination Council recently announced the transition from the Paper-Pencil Test model, known as the PPT model to Computer-Based Test Model, with a number of private and public schools taking part in the first phase of the transition.

After using miracle centers to get ssce results, my people from the SE find it difficult to go further in their academic pursuits as there no miracle centers in the higher institutions.

Many therefore resort to learning trades. Living the original educationists the amala people to take the lead eventually.

You provided a link to NUC website which doesn't show any stats to prove your point of Yorubas being ahead of the Igbos in education whereas I uploaded 4 different proofs of Igbo supremacy in education.

Here, I've added stats of WAEC. You guys are far far behind the Igbos in education, you can choose not to admit it instead of sitting up

If only wishes were horses,Igbos will come close to Yorubas in education.
This NECO and NUC had shown that Igbos have lesser graduates, professors.
With 5 students and 4 passes gives high percentage but the reality is Yorubas have the highest number of graduates, professorrs and
professionals and there is nothing anybody can do about it except be educated like the Yorubas.

Are you literate enough to read the official evaluation?
Ok,read...

From what I gathered

Kano had the highest number of candidates who got 5 credits and above (including Mathematics & English) — 68,159 candidates. Lagos was next with 67,007; then Oyo with 48,742.

What the data shows
Pass rate (percentage of candidates who met the 5 credits including English & Maths) is the usual metric for “best performance” — not just raw number of students.

Abia State had the highest pass rate (~83.31%) among states. Kano had only about 49.84% pass rate for that same metric.

In terms of number of students who passed with 5 credits including Math & English, Kano leads in absolute numbers because of its large candidate pool. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it is “best performing” in terms of success rate.

Conclusion
Kano topped in absolute number of candidates who got 5 credits including English and Maths.

Kano did not top in percentage pass rate. In that measure, states like Abia, Imo, Ebonyi, etc., had much higher rates

Yes by sheer number not by overall percentage

for example let's say Lagos has about 1000 students who sat for the exams and Abia has only 300 , 500 out of the 1000 students who sat for the exams in Lagos passed, that's 50% passed , that's more than the entire number of students who sat for the exams in Abia by sheer number, but then in Abia out of the 300 students 240 students passed that's 80% which means Abia is ahead of Lagos by percentage

Look at the bottom of the data and you will see the source written there. NECO.

Even common sense should dictate to you that if it is data that could only come from a source it can only be from that source or none else. NECO is the only body that conducts NECO exams and could have been the only with such primary data.

And guess what they were credited as the source if only you will look and see.
