There’s no tricky anything. The odds are well in their favor. We have been piss poor, and you won’t realize how bad things are until you peel the “I-am-a-United-fan” lid off your eyelids.

We have a rookie manager who doesn’t know what he is doing, a disjointed team, and players who are error prone. Now, combine that with the tension of playing for United and the media circus around the club.

Sunderland only needs to stay solid and we’ll gift them one or two goals in our usual manner.

We know we cannot change the squad at once but seeing players like Dalot, Shaw, Maguire, Ugarte, Casemiro holding key roles in the squad because there are no suitable replacements for them tells you how poor the state of our squad is.
