Is that the reason why passport is now over 100k? Jokers! 5k people just fled Nigeria to Cameroon. The primary duty of a president is to secure life and property of the citizens, if Tinubu can't do this, he should immediately resign. |

Tunji Ojo has been extra ordinary as the minister of interior |

Mr. Tunji-Ojo is no longer the Minister of Interior; just change his portfolio to Minister of Passport. He doesn't understand his ministry beyond passports. Nigerian prisons need urgent reforms. Inmates are treated like wild animals in cages, including people who were wrongly accused and are awaiting trials. Meanwhile, the minister who is supposed to address that is obsessed with passports! |

One of the best ministers of Tinubu! But those civil servants under him are still doing him bad! If you register through them they give you priority than when you register OYO! |

A joke How can one get a passport without NIN How can one get NIN when server is down? This is another fraud masquerading as Minister APC has destroyed what was left of Nigeria |

TheRareGem1:This guy is the only person who functions well in his duties among all Tinubu appointees, but however there’s a need to make a price adjustment in our passport fee there’s no place in the world where their passport fee is higher than the country’s minimum wage I think he really need to find a solution to that, but every other things being said here I give him credit for his reform, before now I know how people suffered to get passport but currently is way easier due to his reformation. |

yang:How are those who have recently applied for Nigeria passport able to get it if the NIN server is always down. There is nothing you people will appreciate. Blaming, nagging, accusing have been your regular trademarks |

TheRareGem1:While he can be lauded for reforms in the immigration sector, the problem is how is reforms are cascades to the very roots that even officers at the reception and gates of every immigration office aligns with his reform. If you don't know anybody, you will still struggle to get your passport as at today in Nigeria and that's a fact. Its those abroad and renewing from abroad that might have the slight advantage but the Nigerian citizens back home still have bad racketeering experience. So as far as am concerned, the reforms are on the surface, for elites whose pool has been radically reduced by hard policies. Now beyond passport, the Police system is still rubbish and so is the prison system. If Bobrisky can pull the stunt he did, and get away with it, Mr Minister didn't do well abeg. His subordinates are just doing eye service with him. All in all, the slight gains Tinubu make are surface level and does not resonate deep into his administration which is still why Nigerians can't feel it. His policies are selective and prejudiced because it always carry underlying tones of self aggrandizement, not genuine service. As a leader, he is not ready to sacrifice but he keep asking Nigerians too as if he is not Nigerian too. His subordinates too also thread the same path with more dangerous ego and impunity. Neway, I my friends parlance, all na time |

Fine guy from the west..I must command his compétence and resilience in solving critical things in regards to passport issuance. Now he must focus on blocking the loopholes in which illegal immigrant, foreigners use to obtain Nigerian passport and use our names to tarnish our image. Thank you Mr president for making this Right choice. God bless Ngwaland God bless Abia God bless Nigeria. |

Nonsense! Go to immigration and see the high level corruption. If you pay 100k, it will take almost 3 months to get your passport. If you want it to take a week, you will pay up to 200k for a 32 page passport. Rubbish! |

On the passport issue, there is still room for improvement. Asking a passport applicant to come for capturing two weeks after online processing is not cool. Giving the applicant a date for passport collection, which happens to be twelve weeks after capturing is somehow. |

SmartPolician:There are 4 Agencies under Interior Ministry, the Minister only Focused is Passport because of his Personal interest of bringing his own Firm into Passport Administration to receive a share/cut of every Passport Application. The recent increment of passport fee to 100k and 200k was no other reason other than his own personal gain. The interior Minister assumed office wen passport fee was 5yrs - 25k and 10yrs - 70k. But In less than 2yrs he increased the fee to 100k and 200k and introduced Hidden charges of 4k and 8k per Application which goes to his private firm. The Other 3 Agencies (excluding NIS-Passport) under the same minister supervision have felt no positive impact of the minister of interior(passport) because there's no much to person interest/gain from those 3 agencies. |

HomoDroid:just keep quiet there, I like it when people engage me with meaningful discussions not all these assumptions, if you can tell me a country with the cheapest domestic flights then I will tell you how much that country minimum wage is, however this Nairaland forum has drop an update in comparing all passport prices in most countries and how much is their minimum wage if you are not current with the statistics it would be better if you don’t show your ignorance |
