Should you do DNA or continue to live in paradise believing that the child is yours as long as there is no pressure?

I think it's the same thing as "should you check your partner's phone or rather not risk the potential issues it may cause?"

Personally, in both cases, I'll chose to go the hard way.

I'm not a coward. I rather face any problem that may arise squarely instead of living in a fōøl's paradise.

So yes, I'll run DNA test. I'll check my partner's phone.

Peace is not the absence of war. Living in delusion should never be mistaken for peace. Living in pretense or running away from reality is not life.

The reason the American embassy insists on DNA is mainly to curtail incidents of child trafficking

DNA is necessary if you have suspicion because you want to know where, when, for how long, and why it happened or still happening. It’s like saying doing financial audit in a company is not necessary.

Then raising another man's child as yours is also a form of child trafficking... The child deserves to be with his/her real father.

Just get the DNA test done..better safe than sorry at the long run.

Anyway, I advise every man in such situation to go for it. Whichever of the kids that isn't his can be sorted out, but the first is to separate from the lady and go for divorce straight up. The kids are innocent, so, adopting them legally is the way forward. If their papa now says he wants them by force, cut out of the picture and start afresh. The kids will face the trauma but you have done your best. If the kids grow up and they still want to contact you, just attend to them. And if they also resent you, your new family is your job.

You aren't the cause of their wahala.

The man will just wonder how on earth he fathered such a child that does not in anyway agree with him. Sometimes the child grows so annoyed with the father because there is no biological connection.

Some women have created great problems in most families that this DNA thing has indeed become a national concern.

That has nothing to do with DNA. Your real child could give you enough problem to draw u closer to de grave and a bastard could bring you peace and comfort

I will not abandon a child who got used to me just because DNA proved the child is not mine. I will continue to nurture and help the child to his or her full potential.

Really? Has our world become so bad that we are now normalizing crazy things?
It's highly upsetting and neauseting that discussion like this even exists.

If you are young then yes do the rest once a child is born ie before you develop any bond. Do the test even if it is pastors daughter, even if she is Mary magdalene, do test.
But if you are already advance in age, your kids are all grown, you have raised them, sent them through school etc, you have passed the age of raising new kids, then do not bother doing DNA, do not go searching for what may send you to an early grave. You kpai from heart break life will go in without you.

My 1 kobo do the DNA test when the baby is a day old . The sad truth is that you might die childless if you don't act fast. My golden rule either virg!n or not DNA is a must from Day 1 infact I already added this to my yearly budget.

Stay away from your spouse's phone. Aside from being an intrusion of privacy, aside from being rude, aside from any cheating which may or may not be there, there is also too much potential for misreading innocent things.
