I admire Tacha's growth since her BBN days. Unlike some of her co-reality stars especially the females whose sole focus is the glam life, Tacha has never been shy to lend her voice to socio-economic and political matters and she does it with so much conviction.

How much was GEJ giving to them as allocations?. When GEJ himself was borrowing to pay civil servants and more than 20 states could not pay salaries during his time. Well said Tasha. Exactly what I’ve been saying for ages.. hold you immediate leaders accountable.. sadly many people don’t know their state govs, senators, reps, LG chairmen.. all focus na FG/Abuja/President.. Very irresponsible!

In my years abroad most development are done by LG and state govt.. you rarely hear about the President/Prime minister

Sensible Nigerians are beginning to wake up. Like she said, hold your political leaders collecting this fat allocations by the neck. At a time in history when the fortunes of the states have improved, only election losers will focus solely on Abuja to score cheap political points while their home states are allowed a free ride to embezzle their commonwealth. Benue State Governor recently commissioned a juice factory to add value to the local farmers, that's part of it. Some Governors are commissioning projects but more needs to be done to commiserate with what the get every month.

I like how some people are beginning to see that the present governor of Benue is nothing like the others in the past. Given what they get from the federal government, our governors over here are known to either collect and share with the " stake holders" or swallow everything for themselves. Alia is an entirely different breed. Mostly, it's people from outside the state who critisize him.

Just ask him what he has done with the increased revenue. It's a good starting point. Ditto your LG Chairman who has a larger purse now and the honourables collecting constituency allowances on your behalf.
