Don't be scared, the academy is here. Mantato and Lacey to deputize for Amad and Mbeumo. grin grin grin

On a more serious note, it will be Dalot to RWB and Dorgu to LWB. Mount and Cunha behind the CF.

Ugarte the first sub from the bench in CM. Mainoo and Zirkzee the first subs from the bench in attack. The bench goes from having 1 academy player (Mainoo) to having 2 or 3. The academy players will be there just for extreme emergency.

The prayer should be that the 1st teamers do not suffer any injury and that Cameroon, CIV, and/or Morocco crash out early. Ultimately, Sesko and Cunha have to carry the load.

Thank God we watch football with our eyes.

There was one ball against Liverpool played into Liverpool's area.. dorgu was the free man and nobody bordered marking him. All this broda had to do was control the ball and we could score cus he was very free.. he couldn't trap the ball and it went out for a goal kick.. omor I nearly craze

While there were lots to be happy about with yesterday, Some concerns still remain.

I still dont think Bruno and Case as the midfield 2 is the answer. I'm not sure how far that pairing can take us in the league.

I'm seriously concerned about Dalot. He has way too many bonehead moment in games these days. it used to be 1 braindead moment but now it seems its minimum 2 per match.
I'm pretty sure the majority opinion among all United fans on this thread, Twitter, Reddit, and out there, is that a midfield pairing of Bruno and Casemiro is not ideal or sustainable long-term, for this club or team. Majority agree that we need young and versatile midfielders. However, those ones are not available, hence we are stuck with the two of them.
I'm sure the board knows this. Continuously over-flogging the fact that a midfield pairing of Bruno and Casemiro is not ideal, will not change much, until the next transfer window comes and we see what the club does.

.....two truth can co exist on this matter bro. If we drew or lost the match, trust dudes here would cook Amorim like never before.

We were completely outplayed and exposed. Midfield shattered and Defence destroyed. Thanks to Lemmens otherwise eh!

I am happy for the lads cos they gave their all, but likes of Dalot, Bruno, Dorgu and Cunha played below average. If it was Bayindir in Goal or Chairman Onana, sorry would have been the case and AmorimOut would have filled pages with hot lamentations.

Let's celebrate the win but Amorim is stylishly giving up on his system. Baba is going ZeroHag way, abandon your philosophy, just get them the win at all costs.
Funny thing here is you were one of those hardcore loyalists of Amorim until after the Brentford game at which point you were AmorimOut because you felt he's too stubborn and won't change his philosophy and system, despite the team continuously losing.

Now, here you're subtly slating him for trying to flexible (even if it seems like he's abandoning his philosophy and going the route of Ten Hag).

Bros, what exactly do you want? lipsrsealed

Even that 7-0 walloping, check the posts here before that game, we were all in high spirita as we felt we deserved to win like mad only to get lambasted by a hitherto lackluster Liverpool side. I go celebrate this win liiiiikkkeee Maaaaad oooo because nobody can kid themselves that they expected it
Simple. We were expecting a loss, although most were hoping the team will keep the scoreline conservative and respectable.
Then the team end up winning, whether by luck or outright grit and some people are trying to downplay it.
I mean, consider when last we actually took three while points from Anfield of all places? When last? grin

On Casemiro, I think he's still good enough for game time every other week. clearly the major bane with him is the wages he's on.
I will not be surprised if the club offers him a deal on reduced wages next summer except he decides to go to Asia for similar money he's currently on, and I think he's keeping out Ugarte and Mainoo from starting purely on merit.

Liverpool have golden one with Ekitike. Real baller.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 9:00pm On Oct 22, 2025
Ekitike is a proper baller man. His center of gravity is amazing despite his height and he's very technical and fast. Didn't think he was all that but he has cleared all doubts very quickly.
