Incomplete info
What's the capacity of your inverter and battery.
It's very possible that your inverter is only used for lighting and phone charging, if that's the case then battery had been drained completely.
You will have to wait for sun or grid to help recharge back to normal.

Another possible scenario:Inverter capacity is very low to your fridge hence the fridge has damaged the inverter.

I believe strongly the former reason is the case.

Please there is not need to install any solar that can't take your fridge,freezer or water pumping machine,there is absolutely no need for it.

JustSayHello:
Yesterday, I plugged my fridge when phcn restored light. When they took it off, I mistakenly forgot I had my fridge still connected.

Immediately I connected the switch over to Solar, the inverter started making a sharp dotted noise. I ran and disconnected the fridge.

Later this morning, I noticed the light from my bulb was blinking or flickering at intervals.

Please what can I do to rectify the flickering issue?
I don't know if it's the battery causing the flickering or the inverter.
What should I do 😔

It's more of the inverter problem but you can trouble shoot to confirm
1.if you are using charge controllers directly to the battery, check if the controller is flickering if it's not then the inverter might be the issue
2. Has the inverter changed it's default sound if yes then it's the inverter.
3. Disconnect the inverter from the grid and observe the power supply
4. When you ran to disconnect did you tamper with the inverter connection point to the house? Cause sparks causes flickering

U made a very big mistake , one my fridge is permanently disconnected from my solar, I got to know that light is on or off through my fridge socket, so try this before you destroy your batteries

Get an electrician to check it out. There’s an issue with your neutral connection. Nothing wrong with your solar/inverter.

The major cause of flickering on led is caused by a swollen or bursted capacitor inside the choke..

On the day it happened, I mistakenly forgot to remove the fridge from the socket before switching to solar, when Nepa took off the light

It obvious that the inverter is faulty not d solar
Any time fridge power is cut the compressor take time for d relay to pick during this process it drain a lot of power and it obvious the power it drained was more than the capacity of yur inverter (IGBT) might be faulty so take it to d technician I mean only d inverter they will replace the d faulty IGBT for u
IGBT means integrated bipolar transitor

It's actually INSULATED GATE BIPOLAR TRANSISTOR

I believe it is not all the bulbs that blinks. Replace that particular bulb and see if the blinking persist. A capacitor inside the LED bulb may have been damaged. There is nothing wrong with your solar system.

I had a similar experience last week, and it affected the inverter. Your inverter needs to be repaired. If you are in Lagos, take it to Arena Market in Oshodi or Alaba International in Ojo. When repaired, get a solar or electrical engineer to do a power separation from the house switchboard so that whatever you don't need on the inverter will automatically switch off.
