Hello everyone, I wanted to share my visa approval timeline.

Visa application ukvi - 12 th of September
Biometrics 17th September

Additional documents requested on the 29th of September.
Please provide the following documents:

Official, verifiable documents to demonstrate what you have been doing since your graduation in 2014

Send my transcript, certificate, employment letter, employment payment evidence.

3rd of October received email stating that they are unable to make a decision within the time frame.

6th of October - Additional documents requested.

My birth certificate I submitted was from the local government. They only accept NPC issued birth certificate.

My dad is my sponsor so they need birth certificate to show proof of relationship.

I had to start the process of obtaining an NPC issued birth certificate. It took almost there days to be ready.

On the 9th of October I submitted the requested npc birth certificate to ukvi.

Hoping to get a decision before my latest registration deadline 15th of October

On Monday 13th of October waited from morning till evening constantly checking my email.

Around 5pm my agent adviced me to send a paid email request for an update and regarding the urgency of the registration deadline.

By 5:25 PM about 20 minutes after submitting the paid email enquiry. The Visa Successful email arrived in my email. I was so happy.

Proceeded to link up my evisa. Then booked a ticket with British Airways on the 14th of October to get to London Heathrow airport and then join a connection flight to Aberdeen. I am attending University of Aberdeen for an MRes degree.

Landed in Aberdeen on the 15th of October 9:30am. Took a taxi down to the University of Aberdeen and competed my registration.

That's My Visa Success story.

For everyone still hoping or starting this process I pray for favor for you.

For an MRes degree I was not asked for a deposit. When you get your visa then you can pay at least half of the tuition fees payment.

Hello everyone, I need advice.

My family wants to support me with the proof of funds from their pockets. The question is, what should the narration be?
The bulk sum is coming from one person and about two people are sending smaller amounts like 5M each. What narration should these two people use?

I appreciate your input on this please, thank you.
Hello
So since youre keeping the money in your account till it matures, you don’t really need a narration cause you will be printing starting from a day after the money entered your account counting till the date it matures

It’s obvious that people mainly applied for an Mres course because of the option that allows you to take your dependants, now it’s becoming complex because it takes more time to get an Mres offer compared to getting a normal MSc offer so it’s advisable to plan for both so you don’t miss out totally except your priority is to take your dependants along
I appreciate the feedback. Thank you

Thank you for your feedback.
Putting the money in my account without a narration won’t raise any questions during my Pre CAS interview and Visa application right?

Yes cause you will print the statement from a day after the money entered so they won’t see when the money entered

Greetings everyone... Abeg, does anyone know if the university of Aberdeen accepts microfinance bank POF to issue CAS?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by ShalomDaniel24: 8:15am On Oct 21, 2025
How long did it take for your CAS to come out?

I just paid my deposit today and I await my CAS.
my fear is that I might not be able to finish all the travel processes before school resumes in January.

Do you think that November and December would be enough time to get my CAS, Visa and Flight ticket?

Their MRes don't allow dependents. You can email the school though but I'm sure because I forfeited my admission there because of that

Urgent ‼️Urgent ‼️Urgent‼️Urgent ‼️

Advice needed please….🙏

I applied for my Visa since August 5 and since then they demanded for additional documents two consecutive times, of which I provided. The last additional document I sent to them was on August 22 and since then, the UkVI went mute. After several paid calls and messages, all they would say is that my visa is awaiting a decision and that I should wait. I kept on waiting until Oct 10, which was enrolment deadline.

The school wrote to me afterwards that I should exercise some patience while they talk with the UKVI. After some days the school wrote to me again last night, stating that they have withdrawn their CAS sponsorship and I should cancel my Visa application, defer to Jan 2026 in-take and re-apply for a new visa.

My questions is:

if I defer and start a new Visa application with the UKVI, would it be treated as a new application or reference would be made to the old application I cancelled. My elder brother presumes they might still delay the new application for same reason of the old one.

It would cost us so much to defer and apply again but however, if it is worth doing, we can give it a try.

Please I need all the experienced voices here because I and my family would be having a meeting to decide on the way forward this Thursday; whether to defer and reapply or to withdraw the whole program admission an ask for deposit refunds.

I would be reviewing every comment.
The university has withdrawn their CAS sponsorship and you have no other option than to cancel the visa application.

Defer the admission, the University will issue you a new CAS for January intake, then you have to submit an updated proof of funds statement.

Good day everyone,

Please I need some guidance from anyone who has applied to the University of Hull before.

I recently submitted my application for the MSc in Education programme. The issue now is that whenever I log in to my application portal, I can’t see any update or status for the application. It’s just blank, as if nothing is there.

What’s making me more worried is that I didn’t even get a confirmation email after submitting the form. I actually had an earlier application with a different email address which I later withdrew, so I’m wondering if that might have affected this new one.

I’ve already emailed the admissions team but haven’t gotten any reply up till now, and it’s been really frustrating.

Please, has anyone here experienced something like this before with the University of Hull? Should I just keep waiting, or is there another way to confirm if my application was successfully received?

Any advice or shared experience will really help me right now.

Thanks and God bless.

Can anyone suggest universities with a maximum of £5,000 for tuition deposit for CAs?

I want to keep into an application process to get any offer either conditional or not conditional. I am a bit stressed out at this point in time. Your suggestion will surely go long ways for me.

Good day everyone!

My wife studied Human Kinetics and Health Education with second class upper. We felt to go for MRes program while I would be the dependant. She applied to university of wolverhampton for MRes in public health but offer was unsuccessful with reason 'degree is in an unrelated subject area and does not meet the entry requirements for the course' . My questions

(1) is it that with her Bsc course (Human Kinetics and Health Education) can't go for MRes in public health?

(2) what other MRes program can she go for related to her Bsc studied course?

(3) list of universities in the UK with MRes program with dependant?

Thank you

How long did it take for you to get CAS, did you have to upload POF to get CAS?
