The same way your husband's assets belong to you if he dies before you, and your sons will inherit your assets. So, what exactly is your point?

Are you talking about the same Igbo tribe where Ụmụada (women age grade) is the most feared and respected group?

This is untrue! According to research, the husband's property does not automatically become his wife's upon his death in iboland. However , a wife's does. 🤔

The only rule of law necessary is the same law that rules over the men and that is the criminal code established in the country for all citizens. All should receive equal treatment under the law for whatever crimes committed, regardless of gender, age or creed.

Trying to bully women into submitting to acts they would otherwise not accept by way of an all-female gang of thugs is nothing short of tyrannical.

Let's, for the sake of argument, pretend that less than <0.5% of Ibo married women are breadwinners. What reason exists for why even that 0.5% should not be allowed to inherit their husband's property?

Better yet, what valid reason exists for why any of the over 99.5% others should not be allowed to inherit their husband's property? When, by law, the dividends of a marriage are to belong to both the husband and the wife.
