early days. thunder obviously not at full strength, and still enjoying last years championships. I dont think other teams will let Sengun be shooting over guards. But he is special, and I expect a double double average from him this season.

Best opening game in a really long time.

It had a playoff feel. It's ironic that KD in my opinion cost the Rockets that game with the missed free throw at the end of regulation.

The fact that he now understands how to get easy baskets by playing closer to the rim is such an improvement in his game. The workout with The Dream definitely helped. I was most impressed with his pick and roll to the rim.

It felt like he was fighting with one hand tied behind his back. When you're 7'5 spamming more 3's than Harden and Klay Thompson something is amiss.

He is getting his man and upper body strength too. I strongly suspect he's been clanging and banging that iron cos the way he was pushing AD around was gnarly

Players like this plenty for the NBA. I remember asking it here that why will a player play well one day and the next day the same player will refuse to shoot or be doing weird shot selection.

There was a game I watched BAM Adebayo drop 24 points and the next game, BAM only had 4 field goal attempt the whole game. I knew it was fixed just didn't have proof.

The NBA itself is guilty of encouraging betting.

You can't take ads money from DraftKing and Fanduel then act surprised that the players are gambling.

Curry never really got his flowers for influencing that championship team into what it was. And I hope Mark Jackson gets rewarded appropriately somewhere someday. We know what Curry was in the league before and after Mark Jackson coaching. Not to reduce Kerrs achievements as a coach, after all it was his system that brought the rings. But that crazy killer confidence and maturity was Mark Jackson all the way

Let's assume Billups did all these before he became a coach; 10yrs in solitary confinemet for him, his lawyer and his Uber driver. We don't care.

I love everything. The consumers have suffered enough. Fans keep getting screwed from every direction. You pay to watch the games, guess what? You can’t even watch all of them. You gamble for a little fun, guess what? You can’t do that either.

You looking at the numbers my man. Numbers deceive. Generational wealth cant just sit in a bank account - taxes and inflation will eat 60 to 70% of its value in 10 years. For example a house worth $199K 10 years ago is now $450K. If you just saved and lived a thrifty lifestyle you would sill lose value. We havent even talked about 35-45% tax off the top!

For wealth to stay generational, it has to stay in the economy as assets and investments. If you choose the obvious asset, housing, remember that housing is illiquid. Yes you have an expensive house, but you cant use the value of that house readily for another investment. When you add property taxes and maintenance, you actually lose money over time! Alternatively you can rent your properties out, but landlord work is tough, even if you subcontract it out. The best you can do is what the rich chinese, russians do, park their money into new york real estate. And pray

So maybe you say stocks. In theory you gain 8 to 10% every year, but if you count in 5% inflation, you are really only getting 3-5% on your money. And when the market tanks, all that money goes down big time. Meaning you have to wait until market rebounds,or sell at a loss and run. In short, een though stocks are more liquid, you still need a wealth strategy and it gets harder the more money you have to invest.

You can follow jay williams on instagram to get an idea of the type of education you need to hold on to millions generationally. But most cats dont know this until they are in that situation, and will typically lose 10, 20, 50 milli to bad investments, taxation and inflation before learning.
