AkinDS:Oh, I didn't know that. Noticed their goalkeeper is quite good and she's made a couple of food saves. My expectations though had little to do with their credentials but what I had hoped would improve in our play. We're still rough around the edges. Hopefully we'll have a better second half. BTW, Abiodun has been super impressive. By way the best player of the half. |

That's even going too far up the hierarchy. She is not even in the league of the following: Esther Onyenezide, Suliat Abideen, Peace Efih, Favor Emmanuel, Chioma Olise, or even Super Falcon-in-waiting, Ayooluwa Oke. Sorry, but she has no business being in this squad. None, whatsoever. dkay51: |

AkinDS:We'll see the highlights no need to argue |

lovewins:ISAH what don move go Israel 🇮🇱 na Ona Dey wait for 😂😂😂 Madugu don sell that one go abroad first.. Anyway Ohale hasn’t really done bad as she has also recovered enough to cover up!! Don’t forget that Benin no.18 is a Banda kind of striker, ahbi Ona no Dey see. It takes a lot going against Female Players with such testosterone level.. |

AkinDS:Let me not talk about Afolabi before them label me enemy of progress! |

Deborah Abiodun has turned into okocha all of a sudden |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 5:26pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
This kid is just a brilliant player. Her being at Washington Spirit really improved her field generalship. Really stoked for her. Bascovanveli2: |

Debbie just saved Nigeria from a Benin goal, off a Demehin turnover. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 5:31pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
AkinDS:Before e be like we dey hate on player. Lol This is just the truth. She's trying hard to make up for these ball loses with her marking. This has made Abiodun to become Declan Rice and De Bruyne all in one in this game. Quality of opponent dey shield sha. Lol |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Bascovanveli2: 5:31pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Deborah Abiodun is such a complete midfielder. Look how she tracked the runner to snuff out that chance. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 5:33pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
They were all strolling for that Benin fat chance until Debbie stepped up. Ohale replacement is needed now. I wanted 2nd choice GK to keep also. We should be giving 2nd choice gk chance henceforth for some games if we want a healthy depth. This line up kon be like coach dey fear. When dem no be Morocco or SA. 😂 |

This no 19 is really troubling us... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 5:37pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Ref is stoopid sha. Ashleigh is right to ask that player be carded for that challenge. ![]() How will you simply blow that as freekick? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 5:40pm On Oct 24, 2025 |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by QueenJazz(f): 5:42pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Second half is somehow worse than the first lol. Can we get at least one more goal? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 5:43pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
These changes should have been done in the 60th min, not the 75th. Congrats to Joy Omewa for making her long awaited debut for the Super Falcons |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 5:44pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
QueenJazz:The Middle is flat that's why. Confusion of roles. They're not opening up for passes or Ohale and Demhin are bereft of better ideas other than long balls |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 5:49pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Uchiebe no wan play again or what? Kilon sele. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by QueenJazz(f): 5:51pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
These girls are gassed out abeg. Can't see anymore goals in them. Just hoping they don't concede now. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by QueenJazz(f): 5:56pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Nnadozie God bless you abeg. Let's wrap this up. I'm not understanding this game again. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 5:58pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
QueenJazz:Just look at the defenders? ![]() Dem dey form bigz gehs😂😂😂😂😂😂 Smh. Time to look for faya faya youngings o. These mamas are fed up of defending. Ball is at the back tooo much despite the attacking changes made. Lol |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 5:59pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
The decline in Ajibade's game is really shocking. She has been rather poor in this game. Not to mention her poor performances at club level for PSG. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by QueenJazz(f): 6:03pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
daveP:Omo the thing weak me. I was expecting them to come firing from all cylinders this second half. I'm quite disappointed ngl. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 6:03pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
AkinDS:Playing her in a role she's proven a thousand times not to be best suited at also isn't helping. I guess we need to shout it at the rooftops "Ajibade is not a midfielder". |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 6:04pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Very disappointing second half. A lot worse than the first. Not sure we even had a shot on target the whole half (I stand corrected). |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:13pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Ajibade suffering role mismatch in the Super Falcons just like Iwobi in the Super Eagles. lovewins: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:35pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
Ajibade is a winger lovewins: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 6:41pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
TheSuperNerd:Exactly. The difference though is that Iwobi though not best suited isn't terrible at playing said role. Ajibade however becomes a shadow of herself and she's given enough evidence to proof that. I'll rather have her on the bench than play her in midfield. It just doesn't work. |

QueenJazz:Return leg in Abeokuta on Tuesday. Na from XI we go know wetin go sup. Chiamaka has no business starting that game IMO. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:11pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
daveP:You’re sounding as if there’s a better 2nd choice goalkeeper to take the role right now. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by semid4lyfe(mod): 10:03pm On Oct 24, 2025 |
BascoVanVeli:Osinachi Ohale got beaten for pace twice in this game. Same thing happened in WAFCON when the SA forward outpaced her, and she pulled her back to cause a penalty. I hope the coach is taking note, and grooming her replacement. No be until she begin dey run like snail like Rita Chikwelu hin go know say football don leave am. |
