Well, people in Ibadan, Lagos and elsewhere in the south-west do not believe that Christians are under attack, so they would be surprised by any American intervention. Only parts of the north are experiencing Islamist attacks that affect Muslims and Christians alike, and they would oppose any intervention unless Tinubu invited them, as Jonathan did. Anyone thinking that America will come and bomb parts of the north and the attacks will stop is delusional. The military is bombing them, yet they are still there.
