Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has opened up about his fear of marriage, citing the financial implications of divorce as a major concern.

The producer, in a conversation with Habby Forex, expressed reservations about tying the knot, stating that the thought of losing half of his hard-earned wealth in the event of a divorce is a daunting prospect.

He said his concerns stem from stories of men losing significant assets in divorce settlements, particularly those without prenuptial agreements

“You will see someone that has worked all his life and now has to split his money because of divorce. I’m actually scared of those things. The money I have is for my generation,” he said.

He revealed that he has dated in the past but is currently single and taking his time to find the right person.

“I’ve actually dated before. Currently, I’m single. I’m scared, though God’s time is the best. I just want the right person, even though I’m not sure if I’m the right person for somebody’s daughter,” he said.

He does not want to bring in someone that will chop his money, file for divorce, and claim to be "strong and independent" after being empowered later.

Does he knows that a long term partner can still file a lawsuit against him after breakup by claiming universal partnership and still get part of his property/assets despite the two not being married?

Nigeria laws doesn't favor divorced women like abroad so he should say he isn't ready for marriage than this talk
