Look at Wike talking about lawlessness while him and his master is the chieftain of lawlessness. Hiding under state of emergency to remove an elected governor for state capture is lawful. What goes around comes around. Na turn by turn. |

Wike I support you fully... No one is above the law. Nigeria is not a jungle. Rule of law must apply at all times. Wike should be a bit more tactful in your approach. Wike is not one to be intimidated and I trust him to follow through to revoke that land. As long as the land was gotten illegally then wike is right to reacquire it! |

You know how to insult an ordinary soldier on duty, but you cannot insult the former Naval Officer who is the brain behind the whole thing. Abeg go and apologize to the person you insulted first before we will emotionally support you. If not so, case closed. Na on top subordinates you can flex your muscles. Go and show power against your mate, no, but you dey form innocenty for social media ![]() |

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED AS MINISTER WIKE'S CONDUCT POSES A CLEAR THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY The events of November 11, 2025, involving the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, demand an immediate and serious response. His public disparagement of a uniformed officer of the Nigerian Armed Forces transcends mere misconduct; it represents a palpable threat to national security and institutional integrity. A minister’s verbal assault on a military officer in uniform is an act of profound indiscipline that strikes at the core of our nation's command and control structure. It deliberately undermines the chain of command, disrespects the authority of the Commander-in-Chief, and grievously wounds the morale of every individual who serves under the Nigerian flag. Such actions erode the very foundation of discipline upon which our national security apparatus stands. This can not be dismissed as political theatre. It is a reckless endangerment of national order. This action by Wike is clearly an indication of undermining the federal government’s authority. Consequently, Barrister Nyesom Wike must tender an immediate and unequivocal public apology to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Commander-in-Chief, the entire Armed Forces of Nigeria, and the specific officer whose honour was violated. Our nation's security must come first. It is time for decisive action, not politics of military bashing. The integrity of our Armed Forces demands nothing less. Tukur Buratai |

Everything in this life is not by gra grab or to show you have executive or president backing. Your boys came to tell you that where you send them to they didn't allow them bcus it's a top or former top military officer that owns or acquired the place illegally according to you. What you would have done is to accord the former top military officer some respect and either sort his number to talk to him or talk to the military top brass to talked to him about the issue just as you said you have done now. But nope: you want to show you're the lion of Abuja bcus you have Tinubu's back. Forgetting before Tinubu became president, the retired officer has been there and have powers before you guys. And you went there to go embarrassed yourself as the case will turn out. Honestly Mr Wike, all this your shalaye is late news. You have reported to the current military top brass, there's nothing they'll do to him other than talk things out with him, bcus before he retired he was their senior and they'll still accord him that respect. Even Tinubu sef if he wade into the matter will do it in a diplomatic way and not this your gra gra style. . So my advice to Mr Wike is to swallow this his latest humble pie and stop being a nuisance and embarrassment to president Tinubu. |

There is procedure to everything. Everyone has his limit within the law. Wike goes beyond his limit. Wike should have simply summoned the boss of these military boys. That is the superior power he refuses to use intelligently just because of his arrogance |

Journalist not asking the right question. All the commentators above me are keyboards warriors already doing the bidding of there masters, they claim they did not have papers, yet the office pointed to whom he gave the papers and the guy denied it in front of cameras. The officer stood his ground. I am happy the officer was an educated soldier whom a lot of our youth needs to emulate. It was good they took video evidence. If not they would have whipped up lies and sentiment against the military. I was already loosing hope against the military of my country but this officer has restored my hope in Nigeria |

As much as I dislike this man Wike as I think that he loves power and abuses it. I also think that he is corrupt to his eye balls, I can not condemn his stance and behaviour during the land issue with the navy officer. The Nigeria navy personnel and his men have no business being there. The oga that sent him should’ve done things and handled this matter differently. This I believe is a civil matter and it should’ve been the police handling this issue and not the military. Wike shouldn’t have used rude and offensive language on the young man, the naval officer shouldn’t have said that Wike lack intergrity as well. Wike might be overdoing things but would this military officer have confronted El Rufai in this manner when he was the FCT minister? El Rufai had same issues with top military officers during his time and they all never stepped out of line. He had problem with Jerry Useni and I think El Rufai demolished Useni’s property and nothing happened. The military deserve respect so does the police that this young navy officer was talking down on. Many of those police men that he was belating and disrespecting have started wearing the uniform before him. |

It calls for great concerns, if a retired naval officer could put on ground that number of serving officers to protect just one, out of his personal property at the expense of tax payers money and national security, at a time when the nation security is deteriorating. I can see abuse of power here majorly from the retired naval chief first before I can portion any blame to any other person. |

The former chief of naval staff should respect the office of the minister. It's not about Wike (even me wey dey type no like Wike because as i dey see am, thief dey him eye but I respect him courage) but it's about his office and impunity and abuse of power. Nigeria military have no respect for public office holder, they have no respect for police, DSS just because the trauma that Nigerians have experienced in the past, considering our history of military dictatorship. An average Nigerian sees a military man as a demigod. Nigeria and Nigerians are yet to recover from the trauma of military dictatorship. If Nigeria na human being, en suppose go for therapy. No insult intended but a high population of Nigerians don't understand what this entails. In a country like Nigeria, people are clapping and cheering military (worst is a a retired one at that) when abusing power and not respecting the office of a public servant. Minister Wike, no let anybody intimidate you just like you no dey encroach for their office, make dem no encroach for your own. Please, let the chief of defense staff call his people to order, we're not in military rule and we have laws and due process should be followed when doing things. We no dey banana republic. Una wey dey laugh Wike, shey una think sey if Wike want fight for there, una think sey him no go fight dem, him too go there with uniform men too, abi una no see well equipped DSS and police there? I cry for my country. |

The training they are giving these officers is topnotch. You could see his leadership ability shining through. Calmness in the midst of provocation, assertiveness without being insulting, even his body language showed he was in control of the situation. He is truly an officer and a gentleman. |

If only people know the land deals this minister is doing in Abuja, then you will realise he is not doing this for anybody but himself. It is rumored that to get an allocation in Guzape 2, you will pay nothing less than 2.5bn (not to the FG or FCTA)...i didnt say to whom ooo...I am currently staring at an R of O that was gotten by paying this figure not to the FG or FCTA. So when you see this man doing these stunts, it is not for you |
