Its mostly because Wike the wicked is hated everywhere one the country. Its that simple.

Even me sef will judge against him. I no like any Nigerian politician aswia...
see we run a crude way of polities in nigeria he knows he has to be this way else he wont get his way, politicians like Ambode if they had been more cruel in their politics maybe he would still be a governor now,

we should because we hate someone we should shy away from the obvious, giving this same military that has brought shame to us internationally accolades for this is wrong, they should be fighting the insurgency rather fighting for land
Re: Wike Called The Chief Of Defence Staff During A Heated Exchange With Yerima by spiSeyi: 7:59pm On Nov 12, 2025
Wike have no command of the military he is not an elected public officer and not the C in C not even Chief security officer. Wike should have respected himself, and as a minister he shouldn't be everywhere for the land disputes. He should have assigned this to his appointees and face the administrative work he was appointed to do undecided. Abuja the FCT is lacking a lot of basic amenities and Wike should be more concerned about this

Wike should simply resign. Too much wahala and corruption trail him

Are those tears? Continue to support the thieving politicians, we will support our military.
So the military officer claiming ownership of 30 hectares of land in Abuja did not steal it abi?

Where did a civil servant get the money to purchase 30 hectares of land in Abuja?!

Some questions that I ponder on in view of this military/civilian conflict are:

1.........Did anyone compel these soldiers to join the military?...Why the excessive anger and disgust towards civilians?

2......Are they working for free so that Nigerians owe them so much?...They get paid while their bosses have almost equal access as top politicians to the Nation's treasury ....So what exactly is the reason for the sense of entitlement and feeling that they are above the law of the land?

3.......If they demand these extreme respect because they die defending the country, what then should accrue to the thousands who have died due to the failure of the country's security architecture?....We should worship those ones as gods and prophets then?...Isn't everyone at risk of dying in this country as it is presently anyway?...

4....While these soldiers have security in numbers and availability of ammunition to fight insurgents, ordinary Nigerians have mostly only their guts and instincts to protect them from the same criminals ....in fact some people in remote areas, long distance drivers and travellers are at risk of facing these criminals without any armed colleagues or ammo to back them up...Are these people also to demand exception from the laws of the land because they are brave enough to face criminals even unarmed?

Lastly, this "a General is always a General" talk, what law backs it up?...If it is true, what law is a retired General subject to then?...Civil law or martial law?...if he is subject to martial law, how then can be labelled "Retired" and not sent to war like his mates?....If he is subject to only civil law after retirement, how then is he still a General?...and if he is retired and still a General, what and which soldiers is he commanding, and to where exactly is he doing so?

What exactly is going on in this Country ?
Wo...go and buy gala chop joor.

Nonsense talk!
What is the difference between these civilian politicians and the military? They both rule the people with impunity and disregard to the rule of law. There is no rule of law in Nigeria. It's all about a show of power and force. Whether it's in winning election, getting justice, or even as basic as living your day to day life, it's about power and show of force. It's a fucking jungle. The only reason why this is making the news is because Wike met a higher power that he couldn't subdue as it's in his custom to do. Now he is squeaking like a jittery duck throwing up terms like "rule of law" that is alien to his nature. Wike and rule of law in the same sentence? Are you kidding me?

This is not about any civilian or military nonsense. This is about a despot who met a higher despot! Yeah in a sane clime, which Nigeria is not, what you said will be true. But in Nigeria, in your own words-balderdash!

Yes, you're right.

But what do you think Wike will do with the land after recovering it?

Give it back to the Federal Government?

We'll still sell it to his cronies and some corrupt politicians.
The best he could have done in a case like this is to tell the man to pay the appropriate amount of money due to the Federal Government and perfect his papers with the parastatal involved.

It is foolhardy trying to raze down the building when a better option could have been provided...especially seeing that the person involved has tirelessly served the country even to the peak of his career.

Chief all this grammar will not change the fact that the minister himself is lawless. Why is he revoking allocated lands and giving to his cronies. The minister is not in the good books of Nigerians because of his arrogant demeanor. This man did suspended the law when he help to rig the last election and then orchestrate confusion in rivers HOA and then influence suspension of a sitting governor. He will insult TV presenters and talk without decorum. Is he the only minister in Nigeria?

Nigerians are happy because he finally met his match and it's a young man who refused to be intimidated
At the point where Wike mentioned lawlessness, I laughed so hard grin grin grin

Trust me,that building will never be built and will be discontinued with immediate effect......imagine the lack of composure from the soldier while talking to the CDs on camera.....talking to ur superior and gesticulating like you are talking to ur gf.... That officer deserves recommendations.

Wike is unlucky this time around because that land in question belongs to a fulani person by origin.

If that land belongs to an Igbo man the story will be totally different. cheesy cheesy grin
You are the only one seeing the true picture......many are intelligently failing to notice the hidden message in that altercation.

He is a northerner who sees a southerner as inferior.

He is a soldier who considers a civilian inferior.

No southern officer will try that and not get reprimanded.

The military intend to be a law unto themselves which is unacceptable in a democratic setting.

Why is a security agent of state trained and being cared for by tax payers, why would he be protecting private property.

Soldier are train to follow orders wch this young man obey. The question u should be asking urself is why did wike not called the CDS initially wen he held that soldier are stopping his staff from carrying out the demolition before coming and disgracing himself. Soldier only take orders from their superiors not from civilians that was how we met it and that’s how it’s will remain all over the world

If the military can do this to Wike, how much more will they handle other civilians like most od us.
As long as the military is concerned, a civilian remains a bloody civilian.
No respect.
It seems you never saw what took place, wike came to intimidate the officers as he always do to other mainly the police, civilians etc, but he has forgotten that the military officer is not answerable to wike. The discipline and compulso from the military officer you will know that he is a product of NDA, he tried and wike and his goons are lucky that it is not a recruit sha...

Look that guy is disciplined walai..

Not only is the military right, but if the political establishment is wise, they should be sensitive to this incident. It serves as a warning that the population has deep disdain for them, and also a warning that it could be very warmly receptive to the idea of a military government. That is dangerous in itself because democracy was very hard won, and the political elite should see that their conduct has alienated them from the masses in a way that could threaten the continuation of civil rule.

Without the junior officers, there is no CDS. The likes of Wike should be careful of their public behaviour. If Wike was intelligent enough he should know that officers will follow order.

Irresponsible government politician expect loyalty and respect from a disciplined military officer, when he lacks the principle and integrity to remain loyal to one course, except his belly and ego.

The summary of what you attempted to mystify is that most Nigerians are gullible and ignorant. The worst thing that will happen to this country is military rule. Not like it has not happened in the past. Hence why the country appears hopeless when critically examined. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Cheering rubbish. A product of nepotism acting on illegal orders is now a hero.

Northern people know how to protect their own, we don’t as Southerners. Wike has his faults, and I don’t really care about him, however, I assume that the Northerners are asking where Wike got the power to challenge them on a Northern soil. If this makes me tribalism, so be it!

We are living under the laws of the North while our Southern politicians have sold us for their selfish ambitions.
