Why not sue for peaceful Nigeria, add one more state to SE to reduce agitation. Landmass only is not the yardstick but also population density. SE population is more than North central and nearly equal to SW with your 6 state and landmass.

They should reduce South East States to 2.

In my view, Anioma should finally reunite with their kin, together with all those who now wish to realign their identity. This includes, but is not limited to, all Ika and Igboakiri (Igbanke) communities.

Furthermore, boundary adjustments are necessary to integrate Igbo communities in Benue and Kogi into Enugu and Ebonyi, while the Igala areas of Anambra should be properly delineated into Kogi where they rightly belong.

Similarly, boundaries should be clearly and correctly demarcated between Rivers and Imo, as well as between Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Abia taking pre colonial and ancestral coherence into consideration.

If indeed Nigeria stands by the principle of “no victor, no vanquished,” then these matters should be addressed promptly in the interest of peace, justice, and national reconciliation.

These are the low-hanging fruits we should be moving swiftly to harvest.

I agree with you, but this passive posture is by design. Igbo is to Nigeria what China is to the world.

We are Merchants. While they are busy with violence and despair we get real busy selling them even their wares of violence. That's mercantile and we need it.

There is no doubt in Igbo ability to project power, but power is not necessarily measured by ability to engage in rancour or fisticuffs.

There is economic power to booth, Igbo perfectly excells in it. That is real power.

Ebonyi state is the 5th state from Abia and Enugu states.
Therefore a 6th state for the southeast shall come from Imo and Anambra States.
Etiti state proposal is a fraud to deny the southeast the 6th state. . Nobody can rob the mineral resources rich Peters in Imo and Anambra States to pay Pauls to be gathered from the existing five southeast States where no economic viable options exist.

Nobody can rob the economically viable Imo and Anambra States to create a sixth state in the least populated and least economically viable area where Etiti state is proposed.

The same Ohaneze Ndigbo led by late Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu submitted Njaba state proposal as sixth state for the southeast during the Obasanjo political reform conference. Is Ohaneze Ndigbo today no more Ohaneze Ndigbo? Why would anyone set aside the pattern through which the five southeast States were created, but now go for scrambling local government areas from five southeast States for a non viable Etiti state, but leave behind the ANIM state proposal from Imo and Anambra States which is the most viable and whose turn it's for a sixth state for the southeast?

Anioma as state best suits Ndigbo as state in the Southsouth.

Igbos like this Ogidigbo who cannot say the truth are the problem with the Igbo.

How can he suggest further divisions of Ebonyi, Enugu and Abia states for a sixth state in the southeast while Anambra and Imo States are yet to profit from state creation after Ebonyi state was created from Abia and Enugu states?
Are the people in Imo and Anambra States who merit the sixth state strangers in the southeast?
