I'm not sure why these mumu aliens keep finding their way to this thread whenever their mediocre nation starts performing well (which is like once every 20 years 😂) just to start patting their backs over not being garbage for once.

Go build a forum for yourselves so that you can bond and do joint therapy sessions over being perpetual victims of Nigeria. Nonsense and ingredients! 🤣🤣🤣

Bro I understand you very well. We need a good league. That will add to our GDP, and we will also have more talents remain locally. As it stands our talents jet to Europe before they turn 20 from the academies. Realistically our best players are not playing in Nigeria. Also, we have more than capable local chances if given the chance and time as we usually give their foreign counterparts. both truths can coexist. We need to be decolonized. That's for sure.
Thank you.

TheCongo2:
We’ve already won 2 CHAN titles with only local players, and our clubs have lifted African trophies at least 5 times since 2000. Mazembe even reached the final of the Club World Cup.

So we have plenty to show for ourselves without relying on foreign-based players.
The reason the Congolese national team is now full of FB players is really a reflection of a low self-esteem mentality—a belief that only players from abroad can succeed.
Wait ooo is it who am thinking it ishuh

Why I don't like it is that once the other team equalizes, the momentum shifts
Yea... Very true. Momentum may shift but the scoreline is still a draw. At 0-0, anything is possible.

Estevaooooooo Willian! Brazil 1-0 up.

TheSuperNerd:
Brazil vs Senegal is only 4mins in but already electrifying. Last time they met, Senegal hit Brazil 4-2 in 2023. Mano Menezes was Brazil's coach then.

See how Akor Adams sneaked in and claimed the role of a supporting striker. 3 games, 2 goals. And he's never invincible. He's an Eagle.

He's pushed Tolu to the bench and made us forget Dessers and the rest.

What a dream for him.

Somehow since Amokachi, Idoma people have consistently produced top players for us:
Onazi
Moses Simon
Now Akor.

I'm from the middle belt but my ethnic group has never produced one player for Nigeria although I'm hoping that this my son who is just less than two years and is always holding ball in his hands, fit come become goalkeeper for naija ooo. 😂😂😂

TheCongo2:
Typical Nigerian mentality: believing that anything produced abroad is automatically better than what you build at home.

Let’s be honest: after all these years of gathering “ready-made” players trained in Europe, how far has Nigeria actually gone in the World Cup?
Nowhere near where they claim to be.

If African football is ever going to rise, it has to be built locally — with strong leagues, real academies, and homegrown development.
Relying on players formed abroad is a shortcut that leads nowhere. You won’t win a World Cup with borrowed talent.
return to Congo abeg 🤦‍♀️

Yes. Don't frame our need to develop as a decolonization program. Nobody's put a chain on us.

I remember very well how in the 90's, our airwaves was dominated by Tu Pac, Biggie, Snoop, Dre and in the early 2000s by Nas, Ja Rule, Cisco, Usher, Craig Davids, Shawn Paul, etc.

But now you hardly hear American music on the airwaves. Our music which had been developing since before Independence finally edged out foreign music. That's how to grow.

Why is the coach afraid to bench iwobi for so many times iwobi has failed to deliver in the team. Just take a look at the match against Garbon ndidi would have gotten so many assist in that match, that suppose to be the work of iwobi.
Seriously, I have the believe that ndidi can even do the work of iwobi, then the coach can play onyenka to assist the defenders.
