He don jam. In other climes, soldiers respect their profession and treat civilians as humans.
In Nigeria, uniform people see themselves as untouchables. Some even use their uniform to rob the people. Go and rest in peace.

That's the problem with military people, they always want to intimidate innocent civilians but can't fight bandits

Insurgents kill Military....Denial and silence

The recent "exploit" of the Yerima guy has emboldened others, even in mufti, to take laws into their hands.

Men in uniform often resort to self-help instead of allowing the law to take its course.

Civilians are often called "bloody civilians" who could be mowed down at will without any consequences for their actions.

As far as the men in uniform are concerned, civilians are pests whose lives are worthless.

For years running, criminal elements have been ravaging the North but, they dread going there to do what they routinely do down South.

For daring to injure or kill a military personnel down South, means an entire village or area must be brought down for the offense of either a single individual or a group of individuals.

Nigerians down South brought this madness upon themselves for condoning these unconstitutional excesses.

I remember joining two stubborn brothers to beat some useless air-force men to stupor that year. This one too do sha. Kids play on the streets normally ball hit you no be intentional. When i come across such in some areas and I happen to get hit i try to play the ball or waka pass and acknowledge their apologies. Them no dey form superman for area boys ooh.

Two teenagers were playfully fighting over sachet water and the thing mistakenly burst and the water splashed on me. They stopped immediately and apologized to me, I didn't see it as a big deal.

He was lucky he didn't die like a chicken. Someone mistakenly hit you with a ball, the people pleaded with you but you refused rather you seized the ball, tore the with your and also stabbed the people around you with your knife. What do you expect? No be everything be violence. These guys think being a military personnel automatically make you a superman. No, even a common civilian can take your life if you aren't careful.

I remember being robbed by an unknown soldier in Obalende 5 years ago. Na God save my life that faithful Monday.

A fight broke out, and one of the boys managed to collect the knife and stabbed him

He did not shout at the minister rather the minister insulted him. I'm very sure if this air force officer was Yerima Wike would have been a dead man or be on a wheelchair by now. We need more security agents like Yerima and less ministers like Wike. If we had more of Wike in the military, Nigeria will not be practicing democracy by now.
