Honestly, it’s annoying. This game was there for us to take. We were looking at the 5th position fgs! Our play is just rigid, and one dimensional. Everton with 10 men just needed to sit deep and we could not do anything. Thank God the termination compensation drops significantly tomorrow. I cant wait for someone else to come get this team to a better place.

The warning signs were obvious in that Chelsea game, and their fans have every right to be furious with Maresca. His panicked decisions clearly cost them.

My biggest concern has always been the team’s over-reliance on Mbuemo. Once opponents manage to shut him down, we collapse back into the lethargic and shambolic displays that haunted us last season. Without a genuine plan B, we’re far too predictable.
