A man has expressed deep shock after discovering that students were still sitting on the floor during class hours in a school in Delta State. Unable to hide his surprise, he was heard speaking in Pidgin English, saying, “2025, oil state students still dey sit down for ground?”

The video has since sparked reactions online as viewers question why such conditions still exist in an oil-producing state.

The rate at which our public schools are being dilapidated,its alarming..

But,I'm not surprised one bit.....But I'm only perplexed,cuz with the kind of money Delta state has,we aren't supposed to be in this kind of situation..

But then again,I just remembered....... Isn't it this the same Delta state where the likes of Ibori and Tompolo are being hero-worshipped?

This our government na wa ooooooo. Dem go don allocate money for all these projects but dem no go do am. If you're born in Nigeria, life don give you 1:0 handicap. This is why Rotimi Amaechi's tenure as Rivers governor can never be forgotten. Secondary schools were renovated to the point that they looked like university campuses.

No citizen can hold the government accountable in Nigeria. Only institutions hold government accountable. That's how democracy works.

Delta State. Where we've had Ibori, Okonwa and others ruled as governors. And they collected a huge amount of money every months from the FG as an oil producing State.

Funny enough, People like Senator Ned is busy flaunting his GBOLA on women and pushing for ANIOMA state. He won't say anything to this.

Honestly, Delta state deserves better than this.

The people deserve the kind of leaders they get. Nigerians deserve APC and Delta State deserve their leaders FULLSTOP.
