Going into cow feed production was just about d first thing that struck my mind on reading this.
I know a whole lot of people will think along too.
Nigeria is indeed blessed.
Every policy will favour majority if u calm down and think deeply.

Let's stop this nonsense. We should stop pandering. Open grazing where one young boy will go with cows from Kafanachan to Sapele does not make sense in 2025. This is modern slavery, stop telling us they can't change. The people who own these cattle should be arrested for constituting nuisance. They can't have their own children walking the cows but they are happy with another man's child roaming everywhere and causing problems everywhere. Cut the supply and all these will change immediately. It's like someone owning a chicken that walks around the neighbourhood, sh!!ts and does everything outside, then goes back at night to the owner's shed. Let's stop this nonsense once and for all!

We can't outrightly blame the FG.
The blame should be on State governors who are still complicit to those actions of the herdsmen within their States.

If there are designated routes owned by the FG drawn up in whatever year i can't remember, let them sort themselves out.
The rest of the South are just jokers.
The Sharia North destroys any place alcohol is been sold and frowns at it. They don't even allow pigs to be reared in the open if not at all not to be seen..
But the Christian South cant be firm in making decisions.

Is there anyone who has travelled to Saudi Arabia or Turkey and seen cows roaming the streets.

We will still be discussing this in 20 years time from now if we dont make good use of our heads.

Which other country except Nigeria tolerates herdsmen wandering around in people's farms with cattle? None.

One Nigeria. Una go hear nwi from Fulani's desire to occupy the whole of Nigeria. Fulani knows that milk and dairy are now more profitably produced by rearing cattle in enclosed farms. But Nigeria government will allow Fulani herdsmen to wander around with cattle on people's farms.
Gradual implementation my foot.

Looks like some outlets jumped the gun again. The “nationwide ban” headline was everywhere this evening, only for the actual clarification to come hours later. Naira-X got the corrected version out first, but the damage was already done — everyone had moved with the wrong gist. This is exactly why people keep saying Nigeria’s media space needs fact-checks before panic. A gradual transition is not the same thing as a ban, but some folks prefer the clicks over accuracy. undecided
you don't want open grazing to be banned or that Tinubu is afraid of what Fulani people would do? Which you want

Where Are The Cows? Is Evans A Herdsman?'

When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Tinubu has never spoken against the deadly activities of Fulani herdsmen across the country

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.

Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.

How we foiled Jonathan’s effort to make Mulika Adeola Speaker, Akande reveals

AS president in 2011, Goodluck Jonathan did all he could to ensure South West grabbed the country’s number four seat, including lobbying then opposition leaders from the zone, to no avail. The North West eventually grabbed the seat, supported by South West leaders in opposition to then ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Former Governor of Osun State and now statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, made this revelation in his autobiography, “My Participations” which is currently dominating political and national dis- course.

Aminu Tambuwal, now Sokoto State governor, won the seat, against the preferred pick of his party, Mrs Mulikat Adeola Akande, from the South-West. Defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, then a fledging opposition, which had Akande and his soulmate, former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, as front- line leaders, openly asked its elected members of the House of Representatives, mostly from the South-West, to work against their region and back Tambuwal from North-West.

The opposition party’s support carried Tambuwal through the contest against Akande, then ruling party’s favourite for the speakership seat.

In his book, Chief Akande revealed that former president then as incumbent, personally reached out to Tinubu, who is now believed to be nursing presidential aspiration in 2023 and himself, but couldn’t convince them.

He wrote, “President Jonathan, immediately after the meeting (with political parties), called Bola Tinubu aside into a lobby to broach the matter of ACN support for a choice of who would become the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“That same day, President Jonathan talked to me on phone about the same matter. He disclosed that PDP had zoned the position to the South-West but that only one Muraina and another Mulika won elections on PDP ticket from the zone into the House of Representatives.

He's jittering not to hurt the Fulanis and quickly reverse his own decision within 24 hours.

We can now see the reason they know the terrorists locations but they can't attack them even if they k**ld a whole community.

We need another Rawlings formula in Nigeria

So sad 😢

There is a need to carry the herders along, call them to meetings and tell them their method of animal husbandry is not compatible with human civilization. If you have 200 cows you should be able to afford two vehicles for hay gathering then station your cattle somewhere there is water.

It’s apparent that this so called Tinubu is not interested in maintaining peace in this country. His only concern is to inflict more suffering upon the people through removal of subsidies and introduction of taxes.

Another unfortunate government that cannot do what a government is expected to do?

Problem with the Fulani herdsmen is that
other Nigerians are modernizing, but
they want to remain stuck in the ancient
way of livestock keeping and want us to
accept to remain stuck with them.

I wonder why their elites agree for somebody
to be trekking with livestock from sokoto
to PH and causing mayhem to communities
along the way.

Coupled with climate change, the Fulani
are desperate to displace peoples of
the middle belt and take over their fertile🌿🌾🌽☀☁☔💧🌴🌱🌴 , well watered lands
for their livestock enjoyment..

But, again, ranching is an expensive
undertaking and the naturally stingy Fulani
won't understand why he has to keep
his animals in one place and be buying
them food, when he can carry them about
to eat free grass and feed on farmers crops,
all for free.

Lands will be allocated to the herders.

The last Southwest security meeting should have looked. creating southwest cattle rearing initiative to absorb the idea from the Fulani use this idea to solve the problem of insecurity with wit and the use of kinetics like procuring more sophisticated weapon, drone and clamour for state police.
