This shouldn’t even be up for debate. For me, once such information comes to light, whatever feelings I had would naturally fade. Some things fundamentally change how you view a person, and it’s completely valid to step back when that happens.

We stay and battle and win together... So many things in this life na aberrations..plus we are alot stronger and more capable than we think... So far the person is worth it..I'm in

My advice to youths:
Go find out how s(he) got infected. Take your time and do due diligence. If it is the result of a reckless lifestyle and unfaithfulness while you are together, leave the person. If it is not the person's fault, there are ways for both of you to marry without infecting the other person, so do not ditch the person. Infact, don't.

I would first walk away and find out if Annabel has infected me...

If she has not infected me, then I Will finally walk away.

If she has infected me, then we die there.

Except they get it by other means except sex, HIV isn't a death sentence anymore.

Answers we get here will give you an insight into the fact that most people who profess love for themselves never actually loved themselves but are just lusting after their partners characteristics (physical, mental, psychological). To love is to give. Christ loved to the extent of laying down his own life. I have seen a couple whom the wife is HIV positive. If your partner betrayed you and cheated to become HIV positive, you have every moral ground to quit the relationship though but if the situation that brought it was not their making, to stay and hope for the best is the way if truly what you guys share is LOVE. We pray for the best in life but prepare for the worst. May our ways be rosy but let us really understand the word love before misusing/abusing it.

Depends on the strength of the relationship. If I really love the person, it will not be a deal breaker for me. There has been great advancement in managing HIV, so long as the person maintains a U=U status they can live a normal life and have children without any problem.

Is just like saying if you are AS and you go to marry only to meet AS as well..

Life is not supposed to be over emphasized, if the person is HIV positive, I will like you and treat you normal but we are talking about raising a family here....

Apart from having having a healthy family, there comes many things that follow having a healthy family talk more of when you know what you are about to enter.....can you sacrifice the time , the energy and the finance?
